Themed decor, comfortable bed, cleanliness. When we were disappointed because the hot tub was closed for repairs, the man who helped with our check-in upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was fresh and tasted good.
Very clean. Friendly service. Will stay here in the future.

The hotel is in a great location to events in down town Des Moines. The lobby and front entrance is very well cared for. The hotel does a great job of keeping a modern look while still presenting the history of the location.
Great service clean rooms ...........................,.........,
Wouldn't you rather plan your wedding extravaganza at just one location, rather than multiple spots? It does not have to transpire only in fairy tales; you can host the ceremony you've always wanted without a hassle. You won't even have to lift a finger on your wedding day—unless it's to have your ring slipped on! When you book with Expedia, all your wedding plans will be covered.
Putting your wedding together can be a little overwhelming. Why not let the hotel take the lead and do it all for you? Des Moines has 152 hotels to choose from, starting at $75 per night. You'll have lots of options when it comes to accommodations in order to reserve a wedding block, and you'll be able to have all of your wedding events in one place.
Your accommodation is great, but Des Moines has some delightful things to do as well. You will find lots to decide from, like 7 breweries and 7 golf courses. Both of these would be a great activity before you say your vows. Take the party to Waveland Golf Course for a game of golf, then to Raccoon River Brewing for craft beers to relive your longest shots and subdue those pre-wedding day nerves.
Make preparations for the next day, so the hotel staff can be there for you to make sure that you have the best day ever. From mimosas and room service to the hotel's on-site spa, you will have plenty of amenities to help you prep for your wedding day. If you are holding the ceremony at the hotel, then once you have been pampered, prepped, and dressed, you will be within walking distance of your wedding.
