Shocked to hear at check-in that Mariott does not guarantee accommodations made via third party - that is ridiculous! I ended up in a room different than booked (with fewer beds, which is an issue when traveling with children) and without internet. Why would they allow their rooms to be booked via the most popular booking sites, if they have no intention of honoring the reservation as is???
