The pools were nice. The room was roomy, but dated and could use some sprucing up.

Dirty!!!

When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready yet, so the lady at front desk very gently invaited us to go to the pool in the meantime. On my way to the pool this other lady tha I minute before was sleeping on the sofa in the lobby got up and in a very very rude way asked us if we had paid to enter the pool, when I told her we were hotel's guest she just turned around. The room was very dirty, We woke up at 430 am with water dripping from the ceiling. The smell of the wet carpet is indescribable.

classic desert spa hotel

Pros: food, hot pools, relaxed friendly environment, casual comfort, pool side rooms
Cons: all rooms are being renovated currently
Location: near to palm springs eateries, casinos, tramway
an original hot spring classic hotel with nostalgia, low key friendly atmosphere, great food, affordable, relaxed comfort

Old outdated. I believe they get away with crappy rooms bc the pool(S) are Great... !!!

Great Escape

Pros: Everything.
Cons: A bit more streamlined check in.
Location: Great restaurants around the hotel, can easily slip into Palm Springs for dinner.
Checking in was a bit of a challenge. We finally got a very nice and competent lady to help us. Overall great stay and an amazing oasis here is So Cal. Everyone was very friendly, both guests and staff. Great that is has its own restaurant and bar on site. You don't have to leave to go anywhere, get a room on the first floor by the pools it's worth it. Mornings are very quite and you can sit out on your little patio enjoying our in room coffee or get breakfast by the pool. Try the Bloody Mary's in the bar they are excellent. With the prices of the rooms stay the day and them the night.

Place is run down

Staff is incredible and very accomodating. Super nice and easy to deal with. The place is run down and over crowded. There was no peace to be had. Kids screaming and running around everywhere. The airconditioning in the room did not cool the room down. It was 105 outside and about 80 in the room, with the thermostat set at 65.

Floor squeak, particles came out of the ac unit

Floor squeak, particles came out of the ac unit, homeless people in the pool area, hard bed, nothing like the pictures on the website.
