"Excellent staff, great food and very good surroundings."

"This was an awwsome experience at Grand Coastal. As someone who frequently visited and never thought about staying at a hotel, this was such a nice surprise. The hotel had amazing food, great staff and cleaning service, and a small, but really nice pool, that is good for kids to cool down. I cant say enough how this was a perfect alternative to super expensive hotels that are permeating the country. Notably, this hotel is on east coast and not central Georgetown. However, its about a 10 minute drive and for me, it was perfect. There is some noise from the highway, but its not something I would say is a deterrent. The only negative here is the prices of taxi service. The hotel uses their own service and they have a huge markup compared to other services. Getting around Guyana requires using taxis, so just be mindful. Again though, it was an excellent hotel stay. Thanks to the staff for all their help! "

"This is a boutique hotel and the rooms are spacious with showers that have hiot water. The location is close to may eateries and there is a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was great and needed in the hot climate. We did eat at the Bistro restaurant next door, the food is excellent "

"It an old house in the centre of Georgetown which has been a hotel for many years. It has an open courtyard in the centre that induces a cooling breeze during the evening. No better place to stay in Georgetown"
