"The hotel is clean and pretty centrally located. Staff have limited English but are very eager to help with any issue. I have left bags here twice as I have travelled around Maluku, using Ambon as a base. A plus is that there’s a supermarket and a cafe on the first floor of the hotel. Only complaint: the air conditioning is feeble and could use an upgrade. "

"A piece of paradise that feels like you have a beach all to yourself! The family who run the resort do all that they can to make you feel at home I would add a couple cautions due to its remote location: - There is limited plumbing (no flushing toilet) and no wifi (we were able to get a weak signal and used our own data) - everything we ate was fresh, delicious and local but this means a lot of fish, rice, greens and eggs. Every night it was cooked differently and we loved every meal, but please be understanding of the limited food choices That said, we highly recommend staying with such a great family in such a beautiful location "

"Facilities were clean and staff was eager to help even though most lacked English. This meant that staff might answer questions without really understanding what was being asked.. The area looked rough but I felt safe visiting an all-night at 0300; I did travel by taxi."
