    "Nice place to stay"
Love the staff, love the location, love being ocean front and the screened in balcony was amazing. The hotel itself is a little dated and tired but still everything I really needed and more. They are doing gradual updates to the rooms, so the bathroom and kitchenette were newly updated. This is a 3 star hotel but the price fits the hotel. I wish I could say it was a 4 or 5 because I loved my time there and would go back but honestly it is a perfectly fine 3 star hotel.

"Nice hotel on the beach. "
Location was good. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. Service at the pool and beach was poor due to cruise ship people being bused in and there was enough staff to handle the crowds. Rooms were nice, no safes, microwave or toaster in the jr. suite.

    "Christmas 2016 in Bonaire"
My wife and I decided to spend Christmas in Bonaire this year at the Plaza Resort. We selected the Plaza because of its proximity to a dive operator, Toucan Diving, that our local dive operator who certified us (Barclay's Skin Divers Paradise) has strong ties with and recommended. The Plaza also has a casino and is fairly close to town. Toucan Diving VERY GOOD clean, shipshape with excellent experience, great layout to shop and facility, good dive boats. Most divers dive out of pickup bed and just go site to site: every 100yards is a new named divesite marked with a yellow rock with a name on it. . we heard some log 16 dives in 7 days which is a bit over the top for us. We did two dives and a lot of snorkeling. Don't forget you have to buy marine park tag to dive $50pp Our best underwater photos came from snorkeling:octopus and fish 20 ft from shoreline in close. Don't miss the Bonaire Donkey Sanctuary or a trip to Lac Bai to sit in the dive bar and watch the windsurfing. Also the huge Cargill salt farming facility with the flamingos is cool.Take some pics on the barren wild north shore and see the ancient indian inscriptions. Coffee sucks for Americans on Bonaire: recommend you bring your own! People very nice. Did not have feeling crime was a big issue. If you are not a diver, you may run out of things to do on Bonaire. Entire north section of island is national park: good for hikers and photos: otherwise skip it.

"I wanted so badly to give this Hotel a 5"
I very much enjoyed my 6 days at this Hotel, The Hotel owners and staff are wonderful, the location and weather couldn't be better. They only things you should consider about this place is that it is very loud at night. Apparently it is ok in this area to blast car your speakers at 3am in the morning. The only other area that held me back from giving this a place a 5 is that just one of the staff could have been a little friendlier or helpful when tyring to book a guided hike. All in all the place is wonderful and an excellent experience local to hiking and snorkeling (or diving).
