Great option in Nicosia

"My husband and I stayed at the Hypnos Boutique Hotel for three nights during our first visit to Nicosia. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room comfortable and attractive. We were especially impressed with the breakfast, which was served in the roof-top restaurant. We were invited to order from an extensive menu--everything was delicious. The location is a bit of a walk from downtown, but we found it easy to get from there to the Cyprus Museum (which we loved) and the old town section of Nicosia. We recommend the Hynos most highly! "

Great location and internet with decent price

"The location of the hotel in the city centre is excellent, and the (password-protected) internet connection worked smoothly during the entirety of my stay. The room was smaller and quite dated, but it had all the necessary infrastructure, including a fridge and even a small balcony. The room key needed to be returned every time when leaving the hotel, though the reception was open 24/7 and the staff was pleasant, so this did not lead to delays. A photocopy of ID document was taken upon arrival, not sure why this was needed. Overall, I recommend this hotel for stays in Nicosia. "

"The apartment was excellent, in a good central position of Nicosia. Marina and Tasos, with who I dealt with, were extremely helpful. I received prompt and clear communication with excellent instructions. I felt that, although the apartment was clean, it wasn’t excellent. Also it would have been helpful if there was a toaster in the kitchen. Having said that, I would definitely stay there again when staying in Nicosia."

Nice place to stay but with cold welcome

"the hotel is fine for this budget - you can not expect anything special, but beds are fine, room was clean, all the small issues were ok - towels, water, noises - nothing here to complain. But stuff - this is a separate question. Not friendly, not polite, they are treating you as they are forced to. No smiles, no attention to details. Like bad robots. As a sample - i asked for wake-up call, and did not get it))). So missed the breakfast which was included in my rate. On check-out - just one frase "your room number?". Two different persons in the night and in the morning - but same attitude."
