This would have been a nice simple place to stay except for the heating fan being set at maximum and being very loud every 5 minutes and the refrigerator sounding like a diesel truck firing up when the compressor came on in room 117. Not helpful when needing a good night's sleep. Everything else was great.

I don’t think asking “did you need something “ when a person approaches the front desk is very professional or friendly. Dropping the room keys on the counter not saying a word is also incredibly rude. The ridiculous $5.00 per night parking fee is one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard of. Is this hotel that desperate? One would logically think that parking is included with the room. Whoever thought this was a great idea is the person that steps over dollars to pick up dimes. The $5.00 parking fee has cost this hotel hundreds of dollars as we will never book with them again. What’s next a per towel fee? A fee per flush? Oh how about a fee every time the door key is used?

I apologize for how the interaction with our staff went, i will speak with the Front Desk agent in question. Unfortunately we can not control the parking fee. It is mentioned on Expedia's site when you book.

Clean - easy. Staff friendly. Could use a couple more towels. Towel had rip in it and wash cloth looked more like a rag. Not terrible-still smelled clean but just truth.

We use to stay here when I was another hotel company pre Covid, everytime we came to Michigan to visit family. So making our first visit since Covid we decided to stay at our usual hotel. First couldn’t find it then heard it changed names. But what a big change. The difference in service and cleanliness doesn’t compare to what it use to be. Now I don’t feel safe to walk in or out of the hotel. When you use to come in after hours you can always see or be greeted by someone in the office. Now silence. We stayed on the first floor usually in the same room for some reason. But the hotel and room feel damp and musty. Sad to say this would be the last time I stay at that hotel.

This suite was reserved specifically for three people. There were only 2 pillows and no extra blankets for the pull out bed. We had to purchase our own pillows and blankets. Staff were very rude when we inquired about these essentials.

Internet was intermittent at best. Garage was left in the garbage can. A lightbulb didn't work. Front desk staff was so-so. Not nice (not mean ... but just going through the motions). I rarely give reviews...but this was a marginal hotel. Barely acceptable.

The bed covers & sheets had hair all over it from previous visitors. The employee working the night I checked in was very nice and fixed the situation immediately. The next room I was put in was much better. Some of the housekeepers seem to be taking shortcuts.

We booked two rooms, one of them was perfectly fine the second one smells horrible and bed sheets on a sofa-bed was dirty (hair, dirty spots). When we asked for clean sheets they told us that we have to change them by ourselves because they don’t have staff to do it. They offered partial refund for one night for inconvenience but overall I’m not happy with that stay.

Nice weekend stay. Clean, [except for vents], comfy bed. Bathroom was clean. Everything we needed for a short trip. Very convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The parking lot has been repaved to new condition. We'll consider coming back on a future trip.

The rooms were clean, but run down. The coffee maker didn’t work, there was only one large glass, there was only a halt roll of toilet paper, no bedding for the pullout sofa, and the parking lot had gigantic potholes. They were nice enough to give us bedding when we asked for it, but it quickly added up to too many issues. We wouldn’t stay there again.

The room was great except for an odor that hit you when you entered and thankfully stayed at that part of the room. Bed was comfortable, room clean, kitchenette good for simple meals. The hostess on duty when we checked in obviously did not want to be there and was bothered by the fact that we were there. The gentleman on duty at night was quite pleasant which contributed to the average rating rather than below average. Would I stay again? Yes.
