Hotel was nice & front desk staff was friendly but

money was stolen out of my personal bag while I was out of the room. I made a report to the front desk and security and haven't heard anything from anyone in regards to my missing money. I was told they were going to investigate and that I would be contacted within about 24 hours of investigation. Everything else about the stay was wonderful. Close to the people mover, and the riverwalk. The front desk staff was super friendly and the guest service staff was also super helpful with things to do in the area. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again though.

Red wings - take people mover to game

Check in was disorganized ( not super friendly staff ). Room was clean ( no shampoo ) modern, and had great view. The worst part was the restaurant service within hotel ( food tasty ) but service was terrible and slow!!!

New renovated spacious room

We got a king bed and our room had tons of space along with a cozy couch, desk, tv with netflix. It was a wonderful stay. Everything looked new and clean. No noise issues, view was decent. The only minor thing was that the valet was always pretty busy so it took about 25 min for them to get our car out. But no big deal. I will absolutely stay here again!!

Would stay again

Great hotel. Amazing loaction. Breakfast buffet was better than ihop. Room was clean. Temperature was hard to keep comfortable. Staff was always helpful and plesant. Would gladly stay again.

Perfect Hotel

Location: Tons of entertainment, restaurants and bars.
From the moment we pulled up, till the checkout at the end, everything was great. Staff was friendly every time we spoke with them. Food was good. Room was tidy and relaxing. Overall hotel sits at a great location downtown. Walkable to tons or restaurants and bars. Perfect if you are not wanting to drive and park.

Detroit Auto show weekend

Pros: The rooms were roomy, clean and beautiful, loved the view! Everyone was great!
Cons: The pool area needs more towels stocked, we didn't have enough, I think it was really busy because there were wet towels everywhere around the pool
Location: Detroit is a great town, we had drinks at the top of the Renaissance Center, and Greek town for dinner, ice skating, boat trips in the summer, biking
we went to the auto show and wanted a close hotel, it was a great place to stay, very nice staff, close to everything!

Detroit Auto Show 2017

Overall good stay for two. Good hospitality from staff. Central location in downtown Detroit with easy access to self parking, Detroit People Mover, GM Renaissance Center, Downtown Nightlife, and Detroit River. Our initial room was clean however it reeked of cigarette smoke. After informing the front desk, they quickly and easily reassigned us to a similar room which was also clean and pleasant smelling. We did notice that the temperature was a bit warm and it seemed that the automatic function on the thermostat did work well. The room did not seem to cool to the commanded temperature. We would definitely stay there again.
