Nice hotel close to all the arenas

Pros: Loved the corner room, staff was helpful, quick to check everyone in & the fridge in the room. the little shop in the lobby is cute & has a few items
Cons: For the price of the room, there needs be an offering for continental breakfast. People with gluten issues cannot buy the bagels at the little shop.
Location: very close to the arenas - we walked and had a nice crowd walking too. that made it even more fun.
great location, staff were so friendly and i didn't have to wander too far to find the fitness center, pool & restaurant. Love the fridge in the room - that's a rarity lately. Really need to have a continental offering in the mornings for the price of the room. Coffee is out by the valet but by then, we were ready to leave. There is nothing else offered.

Cons: breakfast can be better

the hotel and service were very good but the breakfast buffet was awful. please do not buy breakfast.

Close to the Joe.

A good trip and stay. We went to the hickey game and chose the Crowne Plaza because it was close to Joe Lewis Arena. A very good choice.

Great location to see the last games at The Joe. Alittle out dated for a crown plaza, could use some upgrades on the rooms. Probably wont stay there again only because the red wings wont be there. It was ok!

The service was really great. I think the carpet could use updating but the lobby looks really nice and overall we had a great experience.

Nice Hotel! But dont wait for room service .

We had a great stay with the exception of the lack of room service ability. The hotel has room service, however they don't like to answer the phone for room service. My wife call room service twice on Saturday evening to place an order, each time the voicemail picked up and asked for us to leave our room number and someone would call us back. Well no one ever called us back. We ended up ordering pizze. the next morning my wife called the front desk to see if we could order room service for breakfast, and she explained the situation that last night no one answered the phone for room service . the front desk person told us that the phone wasnt working last night, and that we should try again to contact them for breakfast. Lol the line still didnt work. We called the front desk to tell them about it again and they said they would have someone call us back.
