Too hot

Thermostat not working? Bathroom dirty, not much water pressure.

Great hotel; close to everything!

Pros: Breakfast, rooms nice and cool, friendly and great service.
Cons: My husband vapes and would have liked to vape in our room. He has trouble walking; has a cane and had to go down to the sidewalk each time.
Location: Everything handy; Big City and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks so much.
Came to Detroit for a wedding and the hotel was centrally located so we could get to each event. Wonderful weather, and great Detroit people!

Stayed for 2 nights. Very close to the action. Downtown area very walkable so didn't need the car the 1st night. Nice rooms especially for the price.

Really the prise off the room is too expensive. It doesn't deserve it.

Clean, decent hotel. But be cautious.

Traveled with three friends for a concert downtown. Room was spacious and pretty clean. Could use some sprucing up/maintenance but no major issues. Comfy beds. Location is good relative to, well, location. But man there are some rough characters in downtown Detroit. My female friend said she was harassed by a couple guys at the continental breakfast (which was pretty good). They attempted to get on the elevator and follow her up to our room, but the doors thankfully closed in time. (Which according to the not-so-subtle "safety guidelines" sheet that was in our room, we should NEVER let someone follow us up, or open the door for anyone because someone could be pretending to be an employee and they're not.) Then at the same breakfast, some guy tried to fight my other friend over a pancake. Yeah. So I'm torn on this. The hotel itself was fine, no real complaints. But the area and those that frequent this hotel brought the overall experience way down for me. The safety guidelines and lots of cameras really speak volumes to the experience here. Will probably not travel to Detroit for a long time after this experience.

Small, cramped, filthy room

Pros: The bar attached had friendly staff and offered a shuttle to the game
Hotel hallways were scary and dark. Smell was not great. Room had garbage from last guest still in it. no attention to detail, very dusty, hairs in bathroom. Very old and warn furnishings. Picked this hotel because of the brand worst Holiday inn i have stayed in.

Go Leafs Go!!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at other Holiday Inns with the breakfast included and by far yours has been the best. I would definitely refer you to our friends and family. We spent the weekend to enjoy the hockey game between Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings. Toronto won!!!!
