The Inn is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Detroit. It is so close to everything!! All of the rooms are cozy, relaxing and quiet. The common areas have refreshing water, tea and coffee. The breakfast is not expansive but just enough to be awesome. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I was happy to see them back after COVID.

Always love my stay at the Inn on Ferry Street. Can't wait to return. The rooms are quiet, staff is kind and helpful (and sometime are able to walk you to your room), breakfast is fresh and locally sourced, and the location is great. The seasonal hot cocoa station is also a treat.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. One of the best nights sleep we have ever had. The beds are so comfortable. One in town again, we would love to stay here again.

Properties were beautiful and well managed. Room was clean, bright, and bed was very comfortable. The staff were super friendly, very welcoming, and had lots of great suggestions. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and very good. Will definitely stay when I’m in Detroit again.

Wonderful property with style and convenience. Staff is very friendly and walks you to your room. The area is very safe and with good dining options. Easily accessible by car or tramway (stop right on the block). University and museums just a few minutes away.

Beautiful buildings, main issue was the soundproofing: you could hear everything from the wood cracking to the toilet flushing from the other units.

All of the staff is the proper balance and kindness plus professionalism. I simply adored this place and the rapport I built with the staff was like we became new friends who welcome you back with the same good hospitality they treated you with the first time. When I saw the rating for the Inn on Expedia, it gave them a 9, for exquisite. I want to concur and maintain this level of satisfaction was exquisite. I plan on staying there on Spring Break in March since I am an academic/a professor at a university. Keep on doing great customer service, let that be your defining distinction and organizational culture core value! No matter what this messy world looks like give people moments of beauty and joy, and comfort, because it is one of the things that's most needed in this human journey.

!!! Best First Trip Hotel Period !!!!
If you have any doubts about this place, throw them away, if your flight gets delayed or if you show up late you can contact them via text and they will work with you to assure you get into your room when you arrive. It was colder than the frozen Tundra when me and my girlfriend arrived to Detroit, but when we got into our room it kept us nice and warm the entire time. On the first night The Hotel Manager Ryan checked us into our room and helped me with my luggage in which was very kind and professional. He explained about the basic functions of the hotel and various rules and back story to the origins of the building we were staying in. Charae who is another manager at the hotel also assited us when our flight was delyaed by six hours. She told me everything would be fine upon my arrival and that the key would be waiting for us there at the check in desk when i arrived to the Hotel. For our First Trip Ever this place made us feel comfortable and right at home. When we come back to visit Detroit I wont stay anywhere else unless its here at the Inn on Ferry Street.

The Inn consists of 33 rooms in 4 homes that are beautifully maintained in their original beauty. The rooms are lovely and elegant, with special touches like libraries in their first floors. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful to their Christmas guests. We will stay here whenever we visit Detroit
