The bathroom was not cleaned. The toilet leaked and brought back up part of what was flushed. Back of toilet looks like black mold. Lots of hair in the tub. Rusted shower head. Wooden linoleum floor peeling. Phone keeps ringing. Door did not lock properly. Matresses slides off plywood platform. Bathroom door knob area cracked in pieces and some of the furniture was broken.

Property is sliding down...
I've stayed at this property before and gave a very positive review. Management is not maintaining it well. Walking into the room, the light switch doesn't work. The bulb was missing in the desk lamp. For a chain who's slogan is "We'll leave the light on for you" That was ironic. The area around the TV was full of holes. The shower curtain is too long/ curtain rod is too low hence the shower curtain sags 3-4" onto the tub bottom. I'm sorry, but that's just not appealing. I e always speak with front desk staff about things that need attention, explaining, I don't bring up these to be a jerk, rather in the spirit of, if I ran that business, I'd want to know. House keeping staff is the first line of defense in these matters. Burned out/missing bulbs should be dealt with THAT DAY!

The AC was broken, could not control the temp and it was way too hot barely got some sleep, the was a small roach but i guess i could let that one pass..... one of the bathroom walls was falling apart at the bottom, we got back from a concert and i nocked on the window of the receptionist and she says "What...." as if i had interrupted her from something very important (she had a "itch attack" on a leg) so i ask her if there was something open nearby to get some dinner (it was about 1am) and she muttered something but honestly i didnt care anymore what she had to say after the way she initially responded and she went back to scratching her leg.... so yeah, i wont be back there and definitely not recommending it but thats what happens when you get budget problems at the last minute and have to adjust

The cleanliness of the room overall needed special attention. I drove from Ohio to Michigan just to be bit by a bed bug at the Motel 6. The late night hotel staff was very nonchalant when she was informed. No apologies! No nothing! Will not stay there again!!!

When I went to use the bathroom turn on the light there was 2 roaches in the tub & one baby roach in the corner of the tub crawling up the side i was very disgusted

Very bare bones stay. We were asked for a $53 cash deposit for the room. I never read any place on the site that there was a cash deposit. We had already paid for the room. We refused to pay the deposit. When we left, they had no idea we hadn’t given the deposit. They didn’t offer to give our deposit back… odd

The property is in fair condition but somewhat expected for the rate. Could use new updates. I did not like the requirement of an additional $50 cash deposit to be held til departure, requiring me to travel to the bank for cash. Most hotels/motels hold a deposit on your credit card. If my room had not already been paid for I would have found another hotel.

Staff were very friendly but once we got to our room there were boxers in bathroom and pop still in fridge.. so not cleaned.. over to the side of building there is wires hanging from a power line, I’m sure shut off but besides the point.. pep hole was very dirty as well? Which is never someone things to clean.. but we couldn’t see out of it.. so if someone knocked we had no choice but to open the door.. which turned my stomach..

I would stay here again 😊
Although the facility is in the process of remodeling, the staff were amazing. The only issue is at check in, there’s a refundable deposit that is only accepted as cash, which is not stated anywhere. There is an ATM in the lobby. It’s in a great location with restaurants and stores nearby. I have 2 service dogs that accompanied us and everything was great with them. There were no roaches or bedbugs, which is a plus. The WiFi is free, but cuts in and out. I was able to get a 2nd room for some work I had to do, and was provided a discount by the manager. Overall, one of the nicest Motel 6’s that I have stayed at when traveling. The evening and overnight staff were very helpful and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were secure and rather quiet during the evening and overnight. When I travel to Warren MI again, I’ll definitely book a room here.

When we went to check in, they put the wrong name in and then proceeded to argue with me saying I didn’t have a reservation until they realized they put in the wrong name. On top of that they make you pay a 50 cash deposit which was not stated at time of reservation. The room was very nice though except the ac did not work very well.

Maria at the front desk seemed stressed and unhappy. There were dirty towels and wash cloths on the railing by my door. Yuck. Room was musty and smelled of smoke. Some genius cranked the a/c down to 61 so the room was frigid. The last time I was here I gave a glowing review. This time was very different. I can't seem to add a picture of the towels...
