Solid, clean, good value for moneyPosted Sep 26, 2015
My room, 223, was spacious, clean and comfortable; it was outfitted with a small kitchen, a microwave and a decent fridge. The pantry was not exactly a supermarket, but I found some things to eat that I liked and it was priced reasonably. The building is not new, but the remodeling is done well. My only complaint was a poorly closing door and the location next to the gym. Breakfast was adequate but closes sharply at 9 am. Internet connectivity was good enough for Skype group video calls, which is a big deal for me. It's not part of any loyalty program that I'm aware of, but the Hilton next door is significantly more expensive so forget about the points. If the location in the middle of nowhere is not a concern and you come by rental car, this is a perfectly good option.

Staff kept calling as midnightPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Just the fact that it had a kitchen but a lot of kitchen items were missing
Cons: Better staff, better breakfast, and better customer service. Too late for the floors.
For some odd reason walking around at around 11.30pm annoyed the guests in a floor below us because the staff at around midnight, when my children were trying to sleep, kept trying to make call us and make sure that we were jumping around in our room. We were there for two nights and both nights instead of coming to the room and ensuring that we were not "partying", they kept calling us (woke up our two children) to follow through about some bogus complaint. Poorly built flooring is not any guests fault. If there are rules about walking around after 10pm, it should've been posted. On top of everything, we got a telemarketing greeting from the hotel for us to sign up for their loyalty program at, get ready for this, MIDNIGHT. Spacious rooms and ok kitchen but just a poorly built hotel with a very "cautious" staff. Word of advice: make sure you get the third floor.

Good Value/Recommended/Comfortable/SecurePosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Great staff. Good service. Tremendous value for a 2 room 3 bed set up.
Cons: Room could us a refresh coat of paint, bathroom tiles as the fixtures are starting to look old. Otherwise the maintenance people keep it very clean.
Location: Not much to do unless you have an event at the Pontiac stadium. Easy access to highways. So if you drive, perfect. If you got here by taxi. no.
Good hotel overall. The staff is helpful and perfect. The rating overall to 4 out of 5 for me. It is good value, comfortable. Has a boutique hotel feel to it. Free parking, WI-FI, good breakfast, responsive staff. Not a 5-Star as this chain still needs to improve the quality of furniture, settings to be 5-star -- benchmark being a grand hotel. Dollar for dollar it is a 5 out of 5. So overall highly recommended. It's a good choice for people who want true value for their dollar. Families especially will appreciate the suites with double room and kitchen. A business traveler should take this over places like the Holiday Inn Express or Courtyard type hotels. It would be an upgrade without paying more.

Lots of SpacePosted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: Loved the size of the suites (2 bedroom)!
Cons: Everything at the hotel was great. This may be an error on my part but the address I had written down could not be found on either GPS we had with us.
Location: This hotel is located about halfway between Lakeside Mall and Great Lakes Crossing for anyone who like to shop (approx 15 minutes either way).
I arrived late (around 9 p.m.) and there was a note on the check-in desk saying that the staff had just stepped away to help another guest. I waited about 2 minutes before Jeremy, the desk clerk arrived and apologized for the wait. I told him I had just arrived and it was no problem. He said he was a multitasker and he certainly was. He checked me in quickly and efficiently and was also doing wash and making coffee among other things. He did this all with a smile on his face and with a great attitude. The rooms are very spacious and are great for a big family. We had a king bed in one bedroom and then 2 queen beds in a separate bedroom. In between is a living room area (couch and chair) and a nice little kitchen. Everyone was happy with the room and the beds. The hotel is in a nice area and was quiet. Breakfast was great too. This is now one of my favourite hotels and I will definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel for the FamilyPosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: I liked the customer service.
Location: Walmart nearby and short distance from the Palace.
I had dirty linen on the roll out bed and had to ask for it to be replaced. Jeremy, the customer service staff was very quick to provide me with new linens. I also found my room had a loud A/C.

Stayed two nights and would've loved to stay morePosted Aug 21, 2015
We will recommend this hotel to everyone. It's a beautiful place at a reasonable price. We felt like we were staying in a condo and the staff is great! We'll definitely be back!
