Absolutely terrible hotel, however, is closing in a week for renovations (and still charging full price)...room was beat down, paint chipped and coming off the ceiling, either 93 degrees or 50....we left at 7am in a snowstorm just to get out of there...

Love the history of the hotel. The bathroom and vent were very dusty. Old carpet made us sneeze and cough all night. The property was very beautiful however and close to the museum.

A beautiful historic property. Well maintained. Wonderful spacious grounds, immaculately cared for. Very quiet, as if you were a guest at a country estate and yet very well priced. Unless you have mobility issues, it is within easy walking distance to the Henry Ford museum and downtown Dearborn. A wonderful wedding venue. Definitely recommend this property.

This place needs to turn up the temp, allow guests to adjust the temp in the room, and they need to provide higher quality pillows that are firm and supportive. For the price; not a good deal to stay here.

Our room was outdated. Pool area outdated as well. The tub drained slowly and the cleanliness of the ice container lid was questionable. Onsite restaurant was very good as was the staff!

I’m so disappointed. I normally don’t leave remarks but after what this hotel did to me I have to warn others. I paid for the room through hotels.com and Deerborn Marriott ended up charging my credit card again for the same room. I called hotel.com they said they would take care of it and they have not. I am still trying to get my money back where Dearborn Inn Charge me for room that I already paid hotel.com for.

Great: check in & out staff, history, location. Bad: very noisy ice machine throughout the night (most place machines in own area with a door), 4' of wallpaper was curled up over bed about 6", peeling paint in bathroom and exterior upkeep. No WIFI, no WIFI instructions, no room service menu, long hairs on tub, tub narrow without curved curtain rod to keep curtain off arms. Bed was comfortable.

OlIt was very nice. The food in the restaurant was good BUT the servers were woefully overworked. It took 30 min to get a table, 30 min to get server and about 20 to order. When it was all done, about 2 hours. I felt sorry for the server, she had to do everything and. She was worn to a frazzle. I tipped well, she tried.

Beautiful property and common areas, rooms not so much. It is a historic property and the rooms show it. They told us the breakfast was not included and we understood that so we expected more than the usual hotels free breakfast but it was worse. Same buffet but food was cold and eggs were rubbery. No where did they post the price so we were shocked when the bill was $44 for 2 people. Place would be good for conventions or meetings but not for the vacationer.

Seemed run down. In the area near lobby heading towards outside area the lamp shades were shredded, filthy and warped. The area didn’t look very nice. Hardly any plugs to charge &/or use laptop, etc in sitting areas. It didn’t look tended to in many areas.

We recently stayed at the Dearborn Inn and had a wonderful experience. This past weekend we came back and were disappointed with the accommodations. Our past stay was in the main building that had an elevator. This last weekend we were put in another building that had no elevator. My mom uses a cane and when I called to see if we could switch rooms, I was told they were full and that it was a historic hotel and I should have specified that I needed a room with an elevator. As I am not a historic hotel expert, why would I know that I needed to request that? My past experience was that there was an elevator and most building codes require buildings to be handicapped accessible. Once we were resigned to the fact that we were stuck in the room, we then turned to the heat issue. The room was 74 degrees and the air conditioning was not working. I called down and asked about that and when maintenance came up, we were told to open the window and handed a fan. So, to sum it up, my 74 year old mother that walks with a cane had to climb up 3 flights of stairs to get to the room and it was so hot it was hard to sleep. Again, our past experience was excellent, this time was a disappointment.
