Great hotel despite uncomfortable bed

Pros: Very clean, wonderful restaurant, good food, great amenities, friendly & knowledgable staff.
Cons: The bed was too hard. A bit uncomfortable.
Location: The hotel is in a safe area. There is a huge shopping mall nearby. It's a short drive to downtown to the sports stadiums, casinos, and theater.
Great hotel! Good food, very clean, very elegant, friendly and knowledgable staff, lots of amenities.....only bad thing was the bed was too hard and very uncomfortable. I would stay here again if they had a more comfortable bed.

Classy but older

Very nice interior with helpful, friendly staff. Unfortunately building is quite old and the ventilation made a loud clicking sound in our room. We were told by the staff that this was an unavoidable problem in this building. Not recommended for light sleepers.

Nice hotel but restaurant could be better.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Restaurant food quality.
Location: Location was fairly good for car museums
Visited Detroit for a long weekend to visit the Ford and Chrysler museums. Hotel staff were wonderful. Rooms were nice and clean. Lobby area was particularly nice. Weather was very cold, but valet always had the car warm when we needed it. Had one dinner and one breakfast in the restaurant. Staff was excellent but meat was too dry for both meals and cost seemed very high - particularly considering the quality.

All Excellent Except for Food

Pros: Staff were wonderful. Lobby area was well done.
Cons: Rooms were dated but clean. Quality of food was dissapointing at both dinner and breakfast.
Location: Fairly good location for Ford Museum.
Stayed three nights to take in the car museums. Hotel staff excellent - very friendly and very helpful. Valets were excelent, helpful, and professional. Lobby area was well done - top notch. Rooms were older style but clean and comfortable. Only real drawback was the restaurant - staff were very good but food not so good - had one dinner and one breakfast. For both the meat was dry and over cooked and prices high. Without the food quality issue - would have been a 5.

lovely experience

Cons: perhaps more attention to detail in the pool shower areas.
Location: very easy to get to, close to shopping and great restaurants.
We were welcomed warmly each time by staff (especially Marty) Rooms clean and housekeeping responsive and polite. Pool is perfect temperature and the hot tub dreamy...... The restaurant has a great bar and food and the fireplace adds to the cozy atmosphere..

Amazing hotel with shopping mall across the street

Overall experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful, the only thing that they didn't do was inform us that using valet would be $25 a day, but they did take off the first night valet charge since we didn't really use it. There is also guest parking for those who choose not to use valet. Staff were professional and friendly and made our stay at The Henry just perfect.
