The location was conveniently located for my visit during the holidays. The friendly greering by staff, the cleanliness, and decor was outstanding. Ms. Stafford made the Check-out process an easy process and her professional and courteous demeanour throughout was appreciated. Aa someone who has travelled the world, I found it shocking that the hotel does not provide a rea kettle for those who drink tea, nor a fridge. Having the full menu electronically and the phone line connected directly to the restaurant/in-room food service and housekeeping would be helpful.

Great Hotel
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff [3]. The hotel is situated in a great location, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. The rooms were very nice and roomy, providing the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The hotel also boasts a bar and restaurant, where I enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Overall, I highly recommend The Townsend Hotel for anyone visiting Birmingham, Michigan. It truly exceeded my expectations.

By far best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Staff and valet were amazing! Great room with balcony was very relaxing and a beautiful view! Highly recommend, great getaway to unwind.

Very nice property. I may have missed notice of it, but I was surprised after checkout to be charged an extra $22.00. I called to ask about it, and I was told that it was an amenity fee to pay for the "free" coffee and wifi.

I choose the Townsend because of the proximity to the event I had to attend. Also, I am familiar with the Birmingham area and location to family in Bloomfield Hills. Q at the concierge desk was very helpful with locating a private driver due to the Townsend does not have a courtesy vehicle as noted on their website.

Recommend the Townsend
Great one night stay at the Townsend Hotel. Flight arrived late but still serve full restaurant menu in room service until late -- branzino and ceasar was delicious. Great location right in town center and quite. Will be back.

The Townsend is the landmark when in Birmingham. It’s classic luxury with the perfect location to shop, dine and walk around quaint Birmingham, Michigan. The bathrooms are updated very nicely and the service is exceptional.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, anywhere. The room was large, loaded with all sorts of amenities, clean, and upscale stylish. Everything in the room worked perfectly. At breakfast in the hotel restaurant, I had perhaps the best eggs benedict ever, including that the toasted English muffin was still a little crispy until the last bite. Service throughout the hotel was prompt, friendly, and professional.
