I was pleasantly surprised by how large and luxurious this hotel is considering it is inside the airport. I was also pleased with how quiet it was, which was especially appreciated since I wanted to get a good rest before my long day of travel. The rooms are very large and there's a good restaurant and shop on the ground floor. A great option if you're in need of someplace to stay before or after a flight.

They could not find my expedia reservation. The manager tookn30 minutes to appear and then blamed it on “the system”. Didn’t even offer me a drink. I won’t bother with Expedia again as Marriott treats your customers like second class citizens

Despite our $320.46 payment to you on 1/02/24 for the one night of 2/01/24 - Westin DTW then erroneously charged/billed my MC Debit card an Additional $343.24 on 2/01/24. This is totally unacceptable and a terrible customer service blunder. I have already filed a request for full refund by Westin DTW and would hope your staff contact them to prevent any future disruption of your clients.

Room was spacious. Hard to get the heat down during the night. Pillows were too fluffy…would prefer flatter. Bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the delta check in and TSA were not operational which is part of the reason we chose to stay here. Had to shlep our bags back through airport. Overall a good stay.

If you stay during the holidays make sure you have parking before you arrive. It was sold out when we arrive December 29th. We had to park valet after having to pull the car three lanes over during a busy time. Usually love staying here for trips during the winter months but since parking was booked with no indication it could sell out for guests. Not to mention no indication I need to have it set up before going which I wShould have stayed across the highway and then valet parked.
