We like the location and often walk to Mexicantown. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. It's best for 1-night stays as there are minimal places to keep clothing (no drawers, 2 coat hangers), and there are no really comfortable chairs. I suggest booking a room with a king bed because it has an additional little sofa with big pilows.

The stay was nice. The rooms are clean but very minimal. The concrete floors were not really my thing. The walls are thin. We could hear the room next to us. Was good in a pinch but would not stay again

Nice and friendly style. The rooms are pretty nice. I understand the decor but definitely small and I don't think it's worth the cash. Even though you're downtown, I wouldn't want to pay more than one $120 a night

Horrible experience. The staff are inconsiderate and rude. When asked for the person in charge, they said there was no boss and refused to get me in touch with anyone in a management position. Do NOT stay here!

Not great. Looks cool but empty in people and soul. For an empty hotel, they put us in a room that was connected to another room that had a couple having a lot of “fun.” Not smart nor hospitable. One front desk staff should not be working in hospitality. Hotel wasn’t so bad that we had to move, but wouldn’t go back.

A super, cute affordable industrial vibe to stay in Corktown. Would be super cute and fun in the summer with the courtyard. Great coffee Bar for purchase in the morning. Restaurant/bar on site is closed because they don’t have a chef. Room and hotel was very clean. Staff were not rude, but were not very friendly. Did their job but never smiled or made you feel very welcome. Very just to the point…even when trying to make conversation with them. Would stay again despite this.

The property is a unique artsy boutique. It has lots of one of a kind installation of local artist artworks inside and on the exterior of the hotel. Wish the restaurant is still open, it was very good according to the reviews. Hopefully, they will find a new chef and reopen this restaurant to bring more life into this hotel.

The hotel is located in an area that is not developed and seemingly shady. The rooms are tiny with paper thin wall. The worst part was the concrete floor that even with the heat on full blast felt like you were walking outside. The inside of the window had ice formed and I could never get the room warm. The elevator felt like it was open to the elements.

Room was clean and unique. Enjoyed the environment. Comfortable stay. For the price we would have hoped for a little more, in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at in Detroit. Nothing negative to say about our experience. Parking was really nice, although winter storm everything was ice.

This hotel is marketed as an "Artisan" hotel ...this just means there's a lot of unnecessary frills that they charge more money for. Eg, leather chairs in hallways, artwork, concrete floors in rooms. Felt very safe walking around the area and our room was comfortable except a large cobweb hanging off the sprinkler head.

Great Location and Hotel Staff
We stayed downtown for a quick work trip and wanted to try a new place out. This hotel was a convenient spot close to great restaurants. (We ate at Alpino which was awesome!) The hotel has a cool vibe from parking lot to room. Every staff member was very nice and welcoming from the minute we got there. We had our dog with us and it was a perfect midweek stop. The outdoor area looks really cool and would love to go back in a different season. I highly recommend this hotel in Corktown.
