It alright....but.....

Pros: They did have breakfast available and a separate eatery for dinner.
Cons: Cleanliness of the rooms...to me that's a big deal
Location: The hotel is located within shouting distance of the Detroit Metro Airport. However, there are attractions like the Henry Ford Museum nearby.
I've stayed at other Wyndham hotels and this could be much better. The room was not quite up to Wyndham standards in my opinion. While the room service in making up the room was fine, the room itself need a real scrub down. The carpet edges by the walls was really grubby, and didn't want to walk on the carpet without shoes on. The ceiling has dust bunnies from the air conditioner, and the bathroom was another story. The toilet paper hanger was falling from the wall, rusted ceiling light fixture, and the so called vanity shelf was a crude installation at best. The staff however, was very friendly....to bad this could not be translated into a better kept room. An oddity to note....the remote control for the TV kept turning the air conditioner on and off as you changed channels on the TV. For a minute I thought there was a poltergeist in the room. Even with the TV off, you could still turn the AC on and off by using the channel selection button. Now that's odd.

Overall disaster

Front rooms are A+. Anything in the sides or back, filthy, mildew, mold, dirty sheets, dirty bed spreads and dirty towels. And they can't fix it if hospitality is gone.

The hotel is poorly lit, dingy and dirty. Check in persons were more interested in their own business than mine. Never again!

The bathroom stank of sewer gas or mold. There is so much running water all over the place, I'm guessing it's mold. The refrigerator was overdue for defrosting by several years. The Wi-Fi was useless.

Housekeeping could be better.

Pros: Super nice facility. Breakfast attendant Ivan did a great job. Price was reasonable considering two breakfasts were included.
Cons: Quality check on room service.
Location: Didn't do anything except head for the airport on their shuttle.
Chose this hotel because of the nice pool. Water was definitely cool and they were out of towels. I heard the front desk asking for more towels at the poolside but an hour later there still weren't any. No Kleenex in the room for 2 days and the last day we only had one roll of toilet paper which didn't last. Luckily I picked up the Kleenex that day :).

It was truly a great experience. The rooms were very luxurious and in the front desk staff was very helpful. One thing that really did it for me is that they did not charge for incidentals just put your card on file. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is ever in the Metro Detroit area

Beware!! Black Mold

The problem was with my room. I found water stains on the ceilings tiles and upon closer inspection I noticed black mold!! When I informed the front desk they seemed uninterested. A man ( I can only assume the manager or owner since he didn't introduce himself) came up while I was speaking with the front desk agent, looked at the pictures I had taken said simply " Don't worry about. We will take care of that" then just walked away. He didn't ask about my room number or my name. I don't feel that black mold is an issue that should be taken so lightly. Especially because I have asthma and that could have triggered a severe attack. This property needs to attend to this problem ASAP.

Convenient to airport

The staff is great. The hotel is older which is not an issue, but it needs some serious deep cleaning. After day 3 we had to ask to have the floors swept and vacuumed. They were very accommodating and quick to respond. This is a good stop for an overnight but not an extended stay.
