Not worth the money . We were charged just to enter the water slide pool area even though only our children were using it. Water was cold . Very minimal renovations done to hotel.

Thank you for the review. I feel the need to specify that probably most venues geared for kids do involve the parents purchasing a ticket / wristband / voucher / admission fee etc. We do have some work left to do on the exterior of the building, but all guest rooms have been completed and are in excellent condition.

Inexpensive, pleasant stay.

Pros: The pool.
Cons: Temperature of the pool.
Location: This was near my son's home.
Very nice hotel, but with a few problems. I wasn't aware the pool was an extra charge. And then on top of it the pool was 62 degrees!!!

Thank you for the review, we appreciate the feedback. The pool was a little colder than we normally have it, but the issue has been resolved. We did contact every guest ahead of time to inform them of the situation. In regards to our rates, we do offer a room only rate and a water park package rate, so you do need to double check your reservation before booking it.

Never returning

Pros: The staff that I encountered upon check in was really nice and also the life guards that was in the pool area.
I enjoyed the waterpark facilities and the lifeguards were very nice. The adult hot tub wasn't hot at all. The bathroom in my room was dark and dingy probably because only 2 out of the five light bulbs worked. The bathroom can also use some grout work. We left out to go shopping and return to the room after 1:30 AM. We were able to access the outside door leading into the hotel but, the room door would not open. I called the front desk and no answer. I called and again and had to persuade the front desk clerk that it wasn't the key because we were granted access inside the building. After convincing the clerk to send up maintenance, he came up and reprogrammed the door and surprised the keys started to work again. There was a spider crawling on one of the beds so it was hard to get my girls to calm down and go to sleep after I killed it. And the next day the housekeeper told us she couldn't give us towels because she only had enough for the room. The television was also blank with sound when we first checked in. I had to call the front desk to learn that I need to unplug it and start again. It worked so that wasn't a big deal. It was just a lot of small things that rubbed me the wrong way.

Horrible!

Place is dirty and the staff is rude! I arrived at the hotel 10 minutes before check in. The lady at the front desk was horribly rude telling me I could not check in yet. Then after I finally checked in they gave us a room with a ducked taped window, horribly dirty room, mold above the fridge. So after arguing we got a new room. The room was ok found clothes from other people in the draws, garbage next to the bed. It was a bad stay never going back!

Nasty Rooms and bad customer service

Front desk clerk name Holly was rude and rooms were in horrible conditions. My bathroom floor had either ants or maggots on it and no one came to check it out or clean it. I checked out before my days were hope and I hope I didn't bring anything gome with me. Overall very poor customer service and their was no manager to address any of my concerns

Not good.Reception staff at early morning was rude

When I checked in at 5pm, the reception guy was super nice. The room was ok but the bathroom was dirty. At 6am (09/30), I went to reception to check out. I didn't find the reception lady. She came few minutes later and was eating and walking very slow. She answered a phone while I was asking her to check out. I spent more than 10 minutes to check out! Which should take more than 1 minutes.

The room was soo dusty

The front desk was very rude!!! I usually would not have a problem coming back later seeing that I could not check in until 3, that was understandable but when they told me in a rude tone of voice "We ant got no rooms and ant no rooms ready!!!! Go to Wal-Mart and then come back" Im thinking that you know what I don't have time to look for another room and so lets just stick it out at lest the room is going to be clean and we can chill in the pool! I get back around 3 and was informed that the pool is closed understandable would be nice if I was informed that and the lady at the desk said "well you did not buy the pool passes anyway so it doesn't matter" (again the party was today and I had no time to change the room) Now I get into the room the room that I am thinking is going to be clean and grate in stead it is dusty, I'm an asthmatic and I had to use a shirt and wet it to make sure my asthma did not trigger and I needed to set up for a party in about 2hrs and get other things. Also the hotel was under constructions and some of the things were broken in the hotel room. The only time that the hotel was good was when they came to replace the broken coffee trey and answer the phone to let them know about the broken trey. Over all I hope they get it together this is where best Western use to be and I have to say the person that bought out this place defiantly down graded.
