Good for the money

Check in was nice.. Friendly staff.,,, Hotel is clean and well maintained I would give it 3 1/2 stars only because it is not as high end as a Marriott.. I think it is well priced and well worth the stay.. pool/arcade great for kids..

In desperate need of remodel!

Was referred to this hotel via a sports tournament. The only good thing about it was the proximity to the sports complex. Very dirty/stained carpet in all hallways. Bathroom floor was not clean. Mattresses tired. Lobby not cleaned from prior night (bar glasses sitting out). Many places with rust showing.

Convenience, Mostly Without the Cost

The hotel is conveniently located off I-75, close enough to downtown Detroit to make it an option to staying in more expensive downtown hotels. Strip malls are in abundance nearby, but not so close as to cheapen the hotel. In fact, they provide convenient dining options and give you easy access to a CVS or Walmart if you forgot something on your trip. What does negatively impact the hotel, however, is the dirty carpet in the hallway. It's not filthy, but it's clearly in need of shampoo--if not full replacement. In showing age in this way, I felt like the hotel was about 15 percent to 20 percent more expensive than it should've been.

Nasty Tel

My room had a horrible smell to it abt carpet was nasty in my room and in the hall way !!! Bottom line this hotel need a make over I grew in THT hotel as a kid and nothing has change Holiday inn should b ashame to have it logo on it !!! I'm 45 yr old and nothing has changed at this hotel since I came back to visit !!!! Tide my family about the hotel and the whole family was mad about how nasty it was !!!! It.
