Nice hotel close to airport

Hotel was clean and staff was super polite and quick service. Breakfast area was huge and good food. Nice indoor pool and hangout area.

Beautiful lobby. Very comfortable rooms. Nice staff. Condition and cleanliness of rooms was not great. Atrium beautiful. Breakfast was good but nothing great.

Old and Odd

Very odd set-up. Some of the card readers at entrances worked and some didnt. Not very safe. It was be ry old and dingy. Very outdated. The restaurlrant smelled and we couldn't bring ourselves to eat in there. It didn't seem clean. breakfast was not good. No variety and the food just wasn't good. There were some very odd people staying there as well. Some of the guests made us feel uneasy. Wouldn't stay here again. the front desk woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful, but the one who was there in the morning couldnt be bothered to acknowledge I was even standing there for at least two minutes - even though I was standing right in front of her.

Air conditioning was not working properly. Room was not very clean. The place made me very uneasy and I could not go to sleep.

Bad service

The hotek smells of old food and old carpet. First roim had a puddle of water on the floor and when we looked up a big ball of water in the ceiling was about to explode. Taken to second room dank and stuffy. Room service was horrible the bed was made with no sheets only the fitted sheet and duvet. Our tv was turned to the movie channel when we returned to our room. The best thing about our stay were the pillows!

Nice for the price

The Wyndham is a little aged, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. No coffee cups in our room and only two towels, but we were given whatever we needed by the staff. Not too bad for the price.

Pleasant Overnight at Detroit's Metro Airport

Pros: Great-looking lobby, house computers worked fine, very nice staff.
Cons: It was fine by me.
Location: Some good neighborhood restaurants to the right, about 10 minutes down Wick to Merriman.
Hotel is handsome, and the room was fine. Some noise from the highway and incoming planes, but that's not Wyndham's fault. Complimentary breakfast OK too!

Based on the name "Wyndham" - Plusses: Close to airport, free shuttle to/from (super small though) Minuses: Dated hotel, cobwebs in room, grungy bathroom... last minute booking & only $95. Guess I got what I paid for...
