I loved the velvet theme of the hotel. The old-style charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The other downside was the room was bit stuffy and it took a long time for the air to cool off the room—the bed was sooo comfortable. And I loved the shower!!
Beautiful space and very central. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in downtown Detroit! We were able to walk everywhere. One thing to be aware of is that the property does not include parking but there are a couple of paid options close by.
The location is fantastic and the hotel is gorgeous with a fun atmosphere. I booked through EXPEDIA and booked a room with a view. I was very very very disappointed with the view of the hotel itself. My first stay at the Aloft had a view that I was hoping to experience again.
Friendly staff! The hotel itself was gorgeous, the rooms were clean, the bed was super comfortable. I will visit again!
Loved the room decor, the comfort of the bed and the great bath products. The location was also perfect to see many local places and the attached restaurants and bars are great.
Bath was sloppily painted. Too few elevators for the number of guests. Lobby, elevator, check-in area too congested.
The unique features-long room design. Privacy, Staff please professional and guest oriented. Location, theme. Negatives Room service out at 10:30 pm on the most important night of my stay. Downtown traffic noise necessitates sound proof windows for hotel.
The room was clean, very nice view of the skyline, staff was very nice and helpful. Room service Breakfast was delicious and fast!
I enjoyed being in downtown and being able to walk around and see things. Great place to stay!
