"I hate leaving bad reviews. So I'll start by saying, booked because the price was great when everything else was crazy so big thumbs up for that. It certainly was the ultimate in no thrills and budget. As basic as you can possibly imagine. Beds were hard and small as possible room . Tv was competely in feench, most would have at least one news channel in english but fair play it is france. No water pressure in the shower. Very few wall sockets, you get to choose if you want to charge a phone...

"I had an excellent stay at Hôtel Esplanade the first week of December for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was very conveniently located near a tram stop so that it was fast and easy to get down to the city center. More than that, it was a warm and quiet refuge to recover for the evening and at the end of the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two bars, two coffee shops, and a convenience store all within short walking distance. Would highly recommend!"

Host very graciously showed us the apartment and guided us through rules for trash, recycling, organic waste disposal and offered great suggestions for nearby activities. First time using stovetop we hit a snag and host quickly and efficiently resolved. Teens loved how spacious it was and we all enjoyed the nearby trails, bike paths and park, lake. Very relaxed portion of our European vacation."
