Well.... it's not bad... but for the price , i would expect much more. The owner is super nice, have a lot of knowledge of the area including but not limited the the best restaurants. Hospitality is second to nothing and we got a lots of it. There is free parking near the house but, going in and out is a risky thing and challenging. Anyway, the English drivers found to be very polite and they stopped, letting us go in and out every time we needed. We only stayed there for one night. The lobby and public areas looks very nice and stylish. Everywhere , you can find something to buy.
The room is very simple... has it all ... but in a super simple way. The bad is no more than medium quality. Carpets are not convenient and there is not enough place to store your things. So if yo have 2 suitcases ... forget it ... no place for this. Only one chair and one Armchair. So, my wife had to seat on the floor (you can probably imagine who was the one on the floor LOL..) . So room in somehow nice but you can't justify the price. There is coffee machine in the room , however, all amenities are based on a very small table ... crowded with "things" and not very convenient to operate it all.
Anddddd..... the website mentioned nothing about stairs. The rooms are at the second floor and there are lots of stairs to go up. Very narrow stairs. It might be OK if it was mentioned in the website. when I asked the owner why it's not there the answer was : " It's a victorian house" NOT OK
Pros: The public areas looks stylish. Breakfast was good. Hospitality was perfect.
Cons: Room should be arranged different to make it comfortable. Room is not as stylish as the price !!! You should mention the stairs in the Website.
Location: It is near the Stonehenge area so, a lot to do and see.
