Central to the city centre

Very friendly staff, nice room very comfortable bed. Couldn't park at the hotel car park as very limited spaces, however we were give a slip that gave us free parking at Sainsbury's car park .

Good location, website lets it down

I was pleasantly surprised by tho hotel, I had to book last minute and it was picked for me as a Secret Hotel. I tried looking at the website after and it looked like I was going to have to pay for WiFi and parking - not impressed but it turned out when I got there that the WiFi was free and you can get a ticket for 8pm-9.30am to park for free rather than pay the £7.50 charge. The hotel was tidy and a good location. It had a tv with my name on it when I arrived and a seating area. The shower was amazing, proper powerful. I didn't try any food as it was rather expensive and there were other choices nearby but I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The hotel is situated in the centre of town, fabulous for shopping, and close to good places to eat. The staff are very helpfull and the beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Ok but the wi-fi is terrible

To be fair this hotel ticks all the boxes for a city centre location. It's close to everything. Rooms are clean .breakfast good . The one let down is the terrible reliability of the in room Wi-Fi( we were on the 4th floor) Luckily my visit was not on business and there was good 4G coverage in Plymouth.

Very out of date, old,expensive parking! Breakfast not included in price of room, which said room was so dull and dingy I will not stay again.

Please accept my apology for your disappointment with the charge for our our car park. As with the majority of city centre hotels where parking is at a premium, we do charge a fee of £7.50 per night, approximately 20% less than the going rate in nearby public car park facilities. We are very aware of our current shortcomings in our room decor but I am able to assure you that we are attending to this vital aspect of our business with a gradual refurbishment of all rooms and public areas in 2017. I can assure you that these components of our hotel will be markedly improved as the next 12 months unfold and hope that you will consider revisiting us in the future when I have no doubt we will better meet your expectations. Big hotel that doesn't look like the picture

Pros: Location suited us
Cons: Advice on parking Quiet bar
Location: Near to Theatre
The hotel was near to the theatre which was good. However it had a number of Xmas events on so all thought of coming back for a snack and drink had to be put aside. Parking wasn't available so we were sent to Sainsbury's. However when we got there we found we could,only park for two hours and the right to stay didn't kick in till 8. I rang the hotel for advice and was told that I could keep moving the car or to come back and they would tell us about somewhere else. It was pouring down through all of this. When I finally got back to reception they were dealing with someone else cross about parking. I suggested that better initial advice would help and was given a tripadvisor card! The room had a fairly noisy fan/ heating system going constantly.
