The hotel is quite central and the rooms are spacious, but is past its best. Unreliable central heating and no heating in the bathrooms, cooking smells in the Reception area, awkward access to the garage - the lift runs out one floor too soon. Some rooms are noisy from the adjacent ring road. Claims to have parking but this limited and difficult to access - usually you have to use Sainsbury's carpark.

Thank you for your review of our hotel after your recent stay. We are pleased to read your positive comments on our location and our staff's helpfulness. However, we are disappointed to see from your commenst that we did not meet your expectations in other areas of the business.
Please accept my apology for your disappointment with our parking, lift access and heating. These are all elements which are unfortunately a design restraint with the building opened in 1987. However, on our decor and facilities, I am able to assure you that we are addressing all areas of the hotel with refurbishment projects during the course of this year.
I hope that on a future visit you will consider staying with us again when we will be able to demonstrate these signifiant improvements to you.
