Central City of Plymouth Hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The comfort, cleanliness and quietness of the room.
Cons: Nothing really stands out for improvement.
Location: Close to shops and all main tourist facilities, including the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe.
Our stay was for just 2 nights and we stayed in a superior bedroom which was clean and comfortable. It was also a very quiet room although the hotel was full to capacity. The breakfast buffet system was the best we have ever experienced with all food replenished as soon as it had run out. There was lots of choice and the the cooked breakfast items were very tasty. The staff on reception were always in attendance and very approachable. We had a very impressive stay .

Pros: Buffett breakfast was very good with lots of choices
Cons: Beds could be more comfortable

We enjoyed our stay in Jury inn Plymouth, apart from the beds being rock hard and parking was expensive for the week we were there. ~E M Parrott

Good Plymouth base - near centre and harbour

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was good and 20% discount if you pay the night before.
Cons: Windows were a bit dirty on 7th floor.
Location: Harbour is excellent - good choice of places to eat and drink. Plymouth Gin distillery worth a visit.
Good hotel and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Location is handy as in city centre, near the shopping area, and still only 2 minutes from the harbour area.
