Lovely hotel..Posted Mar 29, 2016 on Hotels
A relaxing break over Easter in an area I know well, plenty of great walks, stunning scenery with the hotel being the perfect place to stay without having to take the car everywhere. A lovely veranda at the front made for sitting out with tea and cake a very pleasant return after a long walk.

Wonderful B+B with river viewsPosted Oct 14, 2015
The hosts of the Lorna Doone were very kind and welcoming. They had thought of everything to make their guests comfortable, even to the extent of buying peas to sooth the swelling on my partners twisted ankle. The accommodation was lovely and the choice and quality of the breakfast was fabulous! The setting of the house was magical, right next to the river which you could hear rushing past when the window was open! We are looking forward to returning soon!

Pleasant private hotel.Posted Oct 14, 2015 on Hotels
The Hotel is adjacent to the river and in a lovely position. There is limited free parking and the owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The Hotel is in an old house and everything is a little dated but comfortable. The breakfast was wholesome and satisfying.

North Devon BreakPosted Aug 30, 2015 on Hotels
Two day break in North Devon. Hotel well situated in beautiful twin villages. Proprietors friendly, room clean and comfortable, breakfasts hearty. Only problem was weather, but that is outwith the control of man!
