Conient hotel for beach and centre of townPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Closeness to all main facilities of Torquay - bus stops few minutes away could take you into town centre. Sea front was only few minutes away, down th
Cons: Although there was window seat I feel it would have been useful to have another chair in the room.
Location: Torre Abbey and Gardens within walking distance of accommodation. Beach, seafront close by as was the harbour where you could take boat trips.
Pleasant experience, owner was friendly and professional, helpful when asked. Standard double room was small but adequate. There was tea and coffee facilities in room with extra supplies on landing outside. Bed was comfortable and there was a flat screen television on the wall if needed, En-suite shower, etc was fine with ample provisions, One had a choice of breakfast, full English, omelettes or continental plus cereals, fresh fruit salad, toast and tea or coffee. The breakfast, what ever was chosen, was excellent, the omelettes expecially so.

excellent hotelPosted Sep 12, 2014 on Hotels
We spent four nights at the Southbank and could not have stayed anywhere more comfortable. The hotel was spotless, the room had every comfort and the breakfast was fantastic. We could not have chosen anywhere better.
