Good value your buck (money)...

Hotel staff was friendly. Room and bathroom were clean but dated. Beds were comfortable. Pool was indoor and in good condition. Continental breakfast was basic but well Only one negative ... Guests filling their coolers with the hotel ice machine at 4:15 am and 5:30 am. I recommended the hotel relocate them to the lobby as clearly SOME guests are inconsiderate and abuse their use.

Hotel is unclean. Non smoking room smells cold cigarette. Sink in bathroom doesn't drain. It's a road side motel so you can't be too picky but it's by far my worst experience in that category.

check-in snafu

Location: lounge in the bowling alley next door was nice (Thanks Jason). Did not have to drive to eat/drink.
Stopped in on a weekend motorcycle trip. When we checked in they tried to tell me I had nine rooms reserved when I only had five. Hard time making it right. Was finally able to prove there were only five by bringing up my confirmation from expedia. The staff seemed to be mad at me! Told me I had to cancel through expedia because it was a commissioned room. After I showed them my expedia confirmation they agreed to cancel the other four rooms and said they would handle it through expedia. Frustrating but it all worked out. Our bikes were safe by the front doors, there was a lounge next door in the bowling alley, and the rooms were what you would expect.

Hotel was clean comfortable employees were friendly I think they need to work at the entrance of Hotel greeting customers I put new doors when you come in very hard to pull open I have my card full of stuff I was having a hard time going through the two doors front desk didn't even bother to offer to open the doors and I think the jacuzzi needs to be replace the Jets don't work

Poor cleanliness

Pros: The price.
Cons: The smell.
Location: Close to shopping and Moses Tyler Hospital in Scranton
The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in. Found items on the floor from past guests. Empty jelly cup, hair tie and part off of a zipper. Only left two towels and no washrags on our last day. Didn't care for how dark the swimming pool was. The parking lot need repaved.

Trip of a Lifetime

Pros: It was quaint, the room had a lovely view, it's next to a lot of good restaurants and stores, with a bowling alley and movie theatre close by.
Cons: The ice machine on the fourth floor needed to be refilled a lot more often as other guests used it quite a lot.
Location: There's a drive in movie theatre, a bowling alley, another movie theatre around the corner with lots of restaurants around.
I came to Scranton from the UK to meet my girlfriend and love of my life, and spent most of our time in our room at the Days Inn hotel. The room was comfortable and roomy, with a decent sized bedroom area, closet, mirror area and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the view of Scranton from the window was very pleasing, especially since the time of stay was around the 4th of July, so we saw many fireworks. The location is off the side of the highway which requires driving or a taxi to most places close and nearby, although there is a way of walking into Dickson City if you feel the need to walk somewhere. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the cleaning crew who did a quick and thorough job of cleaning our room. I would recommend the Days Inn hotel for a cheap and cheerful stay around the Scranton area.

The best thing about this hotel was the convenience. There was a Kmart & Wegman's to replace the items I'd forgotten. All of the lamp and wall switches were out of synch. Spent 10 minutes in the dark trying for the magic combination to get them turned on. The tv remote didn't work. The room looked like it was decorated in flea market and garage sale finds. The air.conditioner ran all night and cool the doom to the temperature I set it for. The staff at the front counter was very pleasant and helpful.

Great motel. Repeat visitor.

The motel was nicely priced and I was there previously with no complaints. The staff were friendly and the environment was pleasant. The room had the usual furniture plus a nice sized couch, including a microwave and small fridge. The AC worked well and the stay was enjoyable.
