Pros: Good value.
Cons: A kettle for hot drinks in your room.
Location: Dieppe is a lovely city with lots of things to do. We did not explore a lot but enjoyed our walk along the seafront .
This hotel is good value for money. There are some drawbacks to it like there is no facilities in the room for having a drink, ( tea or coffee ). I had to go to the restaurant each time I wanted hot water or a coffee, which I was charged for. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The food is excellent and a good choice is given at both meals. I would return.

Good breakfast

Posted Jun 23, 2017
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: A note on the bedroom doors explaining about them being weighted and slamming shut.
Woken up early by other guests several times who didn't realise the doors slam shut automatically unless held. There were English channels on the TV but both were claiming no signal or poor picture. It was quite late and we didn't want to bother staff with this.

Good value, convenient overnight ferry stop.

As a one night stopover before we got the ferry back from Dieppe it was good value. Easily reached (a couple of km from the sea front), good parking, compact but very clean room, good continental breakfast. It's next to an Auchan which could be very useful. Very warm weather meant lack of air conditioning was noticeable but don't imagine this is generally a major problem.

After a long trip on motorcycles it was very nice to arrive and have a lovely hot shower and a comfy bed to sleep in.

Ideal for one night stay

Posted Jul 2, 2016
Pros: Breakfast!
Cons: Finding the hotel!
Location: Location a little away from the port but very quiet.
Difficult to locate late at night, off the ferry, but staff all very helpful and breakfast excellent.

Ibis Hotel

Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Certainly a good hotel for 1 night.
Cons: Being given a smoker's room
Location: 40 minute walk to town.
Unfortunately we were given a smoker's room and it was obvious from the odour as soon as we stepped in. The hotel did switch us to non smoking when we went back to the reception and also showed us the quickest way to the ferry, through town. Ample parking and a comfortable bed and a meal at the best fish restaurant in town made getting up at 4.30 for the ferry bearable.

No lift, so difficult if disabled and heavy luggage

Perfect for catching up on sleep before overnight

Posted Jun 12, 2012
Great value hotel for overnight before catching overnight ferry back to Newhaven. A little out the way, but if you have car less than 10 minutes from port. Open 24 hours so can arrive late.

A bed for the night

Ideal place just to stop over for a night's rest during a long journey. We arrived 2am and left 8am. Functional and with secure parking. No frills. Not really aimed at holiday makers who want a base for a while.
