Time to be torn down

Posted Feb 22, 2018
Cons: Tear it down and start over.
Location: Good location near Interstate 95.
This place is way past its prime and needs to be torn down, especially for the rates charged. Not that Days Inns are the nicest to start but at least most are clean and well maintained. This one stunk, had silverfish running all over the bathroom and was overall in sad shape.

Disappointed in Days Inn

Posted Jan 22, 2018
Pros: It was close to our job site.
Cons: Cleanliness, personnel, privacy
1. Had to provide a credit card for incidental charges. Nothing in any of the paperwork stated I would have to do this. Days Inn should have used the card that was on file. 2. A/C filter was so clogged the unit would not heat. I cleaned the filter to get the heat to work. 3. There was hair in the bathtub, there was potato chips under the bed. 4. We put the do not disturb sign on the door so no one would come into our room. Someone entered our room while we were away. They also left the trash in our room. 5. We had to have our room key remade after just one night stay and we were booked for 3 nights.

Average at best.

Posted Dec 27, 2017
Cons: Inexpensive and near Rt. 95 south.
Location: See above.
It filled the bill for a bed while on the road. Large bad drywall patch in the bathroom (room 112) screamed cheap repair. Best part was that Dominos delivered.

Pros and cons

Hotel charged me twice plus Expedia once. Bathroom light/vent was very loud. Air conditioner/heater was like a truck engine (loud!).

Front desk staff not very friendly upon checkin although i did arrive around 11pm and thought maybe she was tired or at the end of the shift, but the morning desk clerk had a similar attitude. Room was very dated and was as clean as it could be given the condition of the carpet and furniture.

Never Again

Posted Nov 8, 2017 on Hotels
The front desk clerk that was on duty when I checked in on the first night was extremely friendly. She allowed us to check in early since we'd been driving for almost 10 hours. We decided to book another reservation and did so the following morning. So while we're at the beach, trying to enjoy our vacation, the manager called me and asked if I was staying another night since check-out had passed and my clothes were still in the room. I was very confused and explained to her that I had already booked the room for another night and also paid for it. I also offered my confirmation number. She still didn't believe me and we got into a shouting match for which afterwards she told me to return to the room and remove my things. Her exact words were 'I don't want you on my property'. So we had to drive back from the beach just to remove our things! I contacted hotels.com and was reimbursed. But she was VERY rude and ignorant and I'll NEVER stay there again. Last but not least, the hotel didn't even have trashcan liners. Lol! Horrible!

We apologize for inconvenience. I never knew you had a reservation. You talked to front desk agent and not the manager. We are sorry for misunderstanding. We did not see your reservation, so we apologize for it.

Good location for my business

Wall was rotted out around shower head. When AC was turned on, it smelled like a smokers room. No coffee pot in coffee maker, No coffee, one tea bag. Hair dryer was missing.
