Awful rooms dark with worn out mattresses . Bathroom crack d old toilet seat .poor water pressure Towel changed once in a 7 day period . All sections Infested with ants . Patrons westerners of ex pat type and westerners entertaInig or rather being entertained by their philipino lovers . Beach unpleasant . Not sandy but riddled with rocks and Other unpleasantries

Nice and quiet resort for relaxing vacation. Friendly staffs, easy check-in and good service for the week over there. It's just that it's too far from town. Need to rent a bike or public transportation which takes around 50 minutes to be there if u wanna go shopping. There's no other restaurants around the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to everyone there esp. to Jessa and Rica and Vicky and all the kuyas who were so friendly. ~ Leo & Sam

MOST RELAXING PLACE.
Had read several bad reports on this place but loved the look of the place. Found the whole experience so relaxing. Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. The owner is a good down to earth bloke too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all of you.

Small nice and friendly resort
This hotel is located far outside the city so transportation is hard between the hotel and city. But if you do not wnat to pay for taxi they rent schooters as reasonable costs. The grounds are very nice with small but friendly areas right on the ocean. The food is very good and there is a good selection. The staff is friendly but not quick in any way. Pool is clean and they offer trips on there own little boat for hire. Owners is friendly and it is just a nice off the normal path place.

very nicely presented good staff and food nice position on beachfront, freshwater pool OK ...But...location did not offer anything but resort facilities.bungalow rooms too close to the road(noisy) rooms dark,only suitable if you wanted to veg out...one night and day enough..Advert says close to Alona Beach ..Bull/Sh...and disappointed when realised after processing payment on credit card that price quoted on inquiring didi not include taxes...more BS....made my stay expensive .Only stayed one night instead of two....sacrificed...and found Alona Beach much better...But yes Kalayaa OK for one night Check accom price quoted Alan V Australia

Great hotel on the beach!
Stayed here for one night and the room was very clean and spacious. Woody and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. If you're looking for a great hotel on Bohol Island, then Kayla's beach resort is a good bet!

Quaint and quite
Room was not so clean and pool needed some help. Trips booked through hotel pricey and extra charge for child was unexpected. However, staff was awesome and "Woody" was especially pleasant. You get get what you pay for and overall happy with the resort. I highly recommend if you want "quaint and quite". Thanks Joy and Woody!!

Wanted to surprise my niece by staying at a resort with her same name....got her a bottle of coke with her name on it..and brought her here...what a mistake. When you come to a hot tropical place when it is snowing at home...you must have air conditioning..no if's, buts, about it. Ours sucked! They offered to downsize us to a smaller room..no thanks! It had more ants and Geico's then the one we were already in! Thats when they brought us a fan...turned it on and black soot shot out and spread across all the white sheets...fun tines. Beach is not usable and it does not have a jaqueze. Food was OK, but high priced when compared to other places. The best thing was the staff. They broke thier backs trying to help us in whatever ways they could. After we arrived we chose to have some lunch under an umbrella at far end of the pool. Waitress name was Vic, and she literally ran back and forth..never say anything like that before. Lunch for 4-people was $1,800 pesos,,,worth about $1K at any other resort. Bring your own wifi...takes 5 minutes to send an email when you are in the restaurant..in the room, well..Google times out! There is absolutely nothing to do near this hotel, good thing we rented a car. Wont stay here again, but loved the staff!

Hidden jewel
This hotel is a hidden jewel for the location and the food was the best on the island! Celebrated my fiancé birthday and the hotel went out of their way to provide quite a surprise for her on our arrival which was quite inspiring and down to earth!

Great Getaway
This place is in the country side, make no doubt about it. There is not anything around the hotel but if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this might be what you're looking for. They can arrange drivers for you to go around to all the sites in the area. The restaurant is very decent; the owner is American and uses his own recipe to make the best baby back ribs I have ever had, slid right off the bone. The first day we were there the beach was a bit muddy and dark for some reason but the next day I saw it was clear and beautiful for swimming. The staff are very nice and even were kind enough to bring our food to our room from the restaurant.

Romantic get away
Stayed 7 days with my future fiancé, she's nit aware of this yet, and the area is amazing. The staff was great and very friendly. The owner was there almost daily and he sat and mingled with you as if he was staying there also. The food was amazing and the beach, not like most beaches, was awesome. This place is for romance and relaxation and well worth the price.

Quiet with very friendly staff
As a solo traveller, I was looking for a beach style resort, away from the usual tourist areas, needing peace & tranquility, and Kayla'a delivered. Initially booked in for 2 nights but stayed 5. Very friendly, helpful staff & owned by a Fillipina & American couple.

Hotellet låg öde i Dimiao, finns ingen möjlighet att ta sig till andra restauranger eller kvällsnöjen. Rummen blev inte städade varje dag. Inte så god mat. Frukost ok.

静かです。ホテル前のビーチは純白ではない。プールは小さいが清潔に管理されている。食事は種類も味も一応は満足できます。日本語の上手なスタッフが一人いるのでJapanglishしか話せない私には大変助かりました。

Sejour trop calme Aucune annimation a l hotel . Nous etions tous seuls . La plage etait sale ( bouteille en verre cassee , pneu , algues , noix de coco , sacs plastique , etc.... Aucuns magasins , il fallait aller a Tagbilaran en bus ...35 kms et 1h de trajet ... Seuls points positifs ....rencontre avec les paysans philippins qui sont tres Accueillants et bonne nourriture .

Le cadre est idyllique, mais ce qui fait la différence c'est surtout la qualité de l'accueil, des personnes toujours là pour nous faire plaisir et avec un grand sourire. L'hôtel est éloigné des grandes zones touristiques, ce qui fait qu'il est plutôt tranquille, de plus il y a peu de chambres, ce qui le rend plus humain. Le restaurant est très bon. Nous y avons passé 5 jours magnifiques.

フェリーターミナルや飛行場のあるタグビラランから車で約１時間程度　喧騒を離れのんびりしたい方には最適なホテルです プライベートビーチは砂とリーフが入り混じった遠浅なのでスイミングには不向き　その代わりに敷地内にあるプールで泳げます 食事も洋食がほとんどですが美味しかったです 宿泊した時期にもよるのでしょうかエアコンは不要で窓を開けて快適に過ごせました 海岸沿いを少し歩くときれいな落陽も見ることができます 風の音と潮騒がリラックスさせてくれるアメリカ人プロデュースの素敵なホテルです

Das Resort liegt in Dimiao etwas abseits der üblichen Touristen-Hotspots. Man sollte, wenn man Ausflüge unternehmen möchte, also mobil sein. Zum Relaxen am Strand ist das Anwesen auch nicht geeignet; dazu ist der Strandabschnitt, an dem das Kayla'a Beach Resort liegt, einfach nicht schön genug. Der Pool ist okay, die Zimmer gehen auch in Ordnung; der Wasserdruck lässt allerdings zu Wünschen übrig. Als störend empfand ich, dass an der Bar den ganzen Tag Musik läuft.

Detta är ett hotell långt ifrån det mesta. Det ligger fint vid vattnet men stranden var inge vidare att bada på, tidvatten och stenigt. Rummet vi hade var ganska stort men mörkt och kändes tyvärr inte trevligt alls lika så badrummet. Maten på hotellet var okej. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Jag skulle inte rekommendera detta hotell till vänner.

A good place to rest
A nice place to stay with a friendly owner. Good and tasty meals for an reasonable price. The pool is clean for use during high tide, at low tide a wide sandy beach. You will meet some good buddys there. Hope to be back there once again.

We stay in this hotel for 2 days. They arranged everything for us. Rent a car, food, sailing and even buy the ferry ticket. The service is very nice. Room is clean. Food is very delicious and price is reasonable also. But the place is not close to the beach. If you prefer peaceful this is a very good choice.
