Horrible Motel! Do not stay here!

This was the worst motel that I have ever stayed at. While the front desk staff were pleasant, the room was dirty and the amenities were unusable. The microwave was extremely rusty and corroded. The coffee pot was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. See pictures below. I couldn't even take a shower because it didn't work! And the only area in the bathroom that looked clean was the face basin and its corresponding countertop! The bed was poorly made, and it looked like the sheets were just pulled up. I was there for my brother's funeral and did not want the extra stress of complaining and dealing with management. So I just best of it for my 2 night stay. If you have a choice do not stay here, and if you have no choice still do not stay here. It is definately not worth the $96 (room fee plus taxes) that I paid per night to stay here. Never again! Don't waste your money, find another motel.

Room was clean, except for bathroom, which needs new paint and dusting. Bathroom door was clean on the outside but you closed and could see it had not been dusted in years. Bottom half of the door was not just dusty but dirty. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee packets, but not cups, cream, sugar, or stirrers.

Dirty Rooms

Pros: Close to Gateway airport.

Location: Gateway airport is nearby.
The door to the room was difficult to open, that should have been the first hint. I had to use my shoulder to shove open the door because the door and door frame were poorly aligned. The carpet in the room looked very old and badly in need of deep cleaning. You could literally see dust on every edge near every wall. Dust on top of the "mini" fridge. It was an unseasonably cool day in Florida so we had to turn on the heater, which put out this awful stench, a sign that the filter was badly in need of a cleaning. It was so bad that i had to open the jammed room door to try and air it out. The bathroom grout was disgusting and there was evidence of black mold on the top edge of bathroom tile, not to mention rusty / crusty shower hardware that was badly in need of replacement. In the seperate bathroom sink the single handle faucet moved about freely, another repair item. One burned out light bulb and a clock radio that was not plugged in. ( I could not find out where exactly there was a plug to plug it into.) I tried to check out and speak to the girl at the front desk, but she was busy showing a room to a customer and i could not wait any longer. This is basically a one and a half star MOTEL that needs to be renovated badly.

Appears clean but...

The room was “clean” but from the moment I walked in I could not stop sneezing. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The staff was very nice.

We will not stay here again. The air conditioner was leaking. The carpet was soaked by the air conditioner. Everything in the room was damp, almost like it had not been dried, the towels and sheets. The carpet was also damp. Our room had a king size bed and a sofa bed. There was no sheets, pillows, or blankets for the sofa bed. When I tried to call the office, they never answered the phone, so I went to the office. I was told that the phone was broken and that they could make calls but not answer the phone. When I complained about the room, the manager said the room had just been cleaned and was fine. She wouldn't even come to the room to see what I was taking about. I was told it was just humid, not damp or wet. There was also no blankets or pillows for the sofa bed, I did however get sheets. I tried to cancel the room and get a refund but the manager refused. I was told the room was clean and there was nothing wrong with the room. I do not recommend this hotel at all. There are plenty of options within this price range that are nice. Wyndam should be ashamed of this hotel.

I won't stay here again!

The room smelled a bit stale with tha a/c running. The refrigerator didn't close all the way so it defrosts all over the carpet. When you enter the room it was completely dark, no light switches. We fumbled around for a few minutes tripping on stuff looking for a lamp. One of the lamps didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work. Breakfast was dismal... the beds were not uncomfortable.
