Great place to relax

Pros: Everyone can have their own room and private space.
Cons: I was supposed to get a food credit with my package from Expedia, and it was not offered when I checked in.
Location: Disney World is a very short distance away, and easy to get to. There are also restaurants, stores and grocery within a couple miles.
This is a great place to stay if you have a big group, or would like more room to move around in, rather than your average hotel. The condo was beautiful, and it was great to all have our own sleeping area. The full kitchen was useful for saving some money on going out to eat. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Nice looking and pleasing to the eye

the deluxe room it was not! the sofa had big rips on the arm rest was old and tatty, the balcony was dirty, cigarette butt on the floor, ceiling panels falling down, blinds fell apart when they were opened on first day, constant problem with ants in the bathroom, swimming pool area had ant mounds everywhere and we're not checked by staff unless you called them,communal stairways and paths were filthy with dead bugs and cigarette ends and never swept the whole time we were there.

Was ok for the price

Pros: Staff were very good and very helpful
Location: We were told it was ten minutes from Disney, more like 20 minutes maybe longer depending on traffic
Went with my family myself, wife and 4 kids, got there to be given our apartment number only to find out it was on 3rd floor and no elevator! Due to my wife's health issues she can't really do stairs so went back and got a ground level. Apartment wis a good enuff size slightly small but nothing major, the cleanliness was not great but we made do! The walls are wafer thin and u can hear everything and I mean every thing! We has noisie neighbors up from us and I now know all there family drama due to the huge domestic that had till 4am, I tried to call reception/security to get them to quiet down but there was no answer! We also had cockroaches but the staff were there straight away and dealt with it and sprayed down our bathroom. Normally I would demand a move of apartment but since we only had 2 nights left before we left we just delt with it. The pools were good however I saw a snake in he grass walking back to apartment, I had major snake phobia so never went back to pool. The main entry gate for some reason broke after our 1st nite and at the end of 2 weeks was still broken, any one could have entered the area as security was a absolute joke no one ever checked my car as I entered. We were told it was 10 minutes from Disney, may e on a day were there's no fraffic and every light I'd green but this was not the case for us, we were at about 20 minutes sometimes longer depending on traffic. Over all it was ok you get what you pay for and the price was very good

Needs update

I love the resort been coming here since it opened .. however rooms need update.. a few minor problems .. fixed by staff..

Beautiful resort tucked away from all congestion

Very beautiful Georgian style villas each spread out ..Not one on top of there like many I have stayed at . 3 beautiful pools lots of things to do at resort . Minutes away from most attractions and plenty of shopping and dining.

Expected more from a Wyndham property

Pros: nothing
Cons: Making sure that the villas are in working condition before letting people stay in them. Providing decent cookware and utensils.
Location: This location was so far out of the way that there was little to do close by except using the pools.
First, Expedia needs to remove this property as an Orlando area location. It took 40 to 60 minutes day and night, one-way, to get to the theme parks and to the airport. Second, while the villa was spacious, there were knobs missing from the drawers, there was no handle on the fridge, and the handle on the bathtub faucet fell off every time it was used. Lastly, the air conditioning and thermostat failed to work on our last night there making it impossible to sleep as it was over 80 degrees in the villa and humid. We have stayed at Wyndham properties before and expected to have the same level of comfort and amenities as we have had in the past. The front desk staff simply took a list of our complaints down on a piece of paper and did not offer us anything to make up for the issues. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful location and room.

We had a great stay at Bahama Bay. It was a beautiful facility with spacious rooms and plentiful amenities. I loved the lakefront beach (obviously no swimming due to alligators) with serene views.

Nice hotel...rude staff

I booked the hotel and I called before to ensure all amenities were working and the hotel was functioning as advertised. Due to hurricane Irma I needed to find a place to recovery. When arrived, club house was closed (swimming pool and bar), restaurant in the hotel was close too), no AC in a lot of places including club house. I wait for the next day and when talked to the general manager he didn't let me talk or explain my concern about amenities and the price I was paying to enjoy everything included. He told me without listening to me that he didn't have time to talk to me and he was ready to do my checkout if I wasn't happy with the hotel. What a horrible experience. I explained to him that I didn't want to leave and I wasn't complaining just uncomfortable with the condition of the hotel even though I called before booking. Overall nice resort but I couldn't use its amenities even though I payed full price for it. I don't think it's right and I shouldn't be treated the way he did.

Spacious rooms west of resorts

Mini family vacation cut short by hurricane. Staff were all gracious and accomadating. We were in a 3-2 and it was very large, bright and had everything you'd want. Only issues with cleanliness were fan blades had not been cleaned in a lllooonnnggg time and bathroom shower mounding had a couple of discolored spots not mildew but needed to be replaced. Cell phone reception very poor but wifi was great and had a landline available. Pools and other amenities were great esp the kiddie play pool. Restaurant was good sandwichy type with friendly staff but only open for breakfast on weekend.
