Close to Walt Disney World

Cons: Streamline the check in process. The first desk was to check in and get room keys. Then to to desk two to sign up for a sales pitch. Then on to desk 3

Check in was a nightmare. We did not know this was a time share and a sales pitch would be involved or we would have went elsewhere. We booked for the waterpark experience for our son but when we arrived we found out it was an extra 20.00 per person unless we gave up a couple hours to listen to their sales pitch. This was not mentioned on the website. The lady at second check in counter lectured us because we choose not to carry cell phones and this went on for several minutes. Why is this any of her business?

Good hotel but high hidden fees

The hotel overall is good. However I was not aware of the additional charges we would encounter at time of check in. Resort fee of $15 a day is to be paid upon check in. Then I found out the water park is not included in the hotel charges or resort fees. I spent an additional $200 in water park tickets. As this was the main reason why we choose this hotel for our children. Everything is fine. Customer service wasn't not that great but fair. They do try to sell you tickets etc at the hotel check in. Which is fine but I didn't see a need for them to be so pushy. I would not rebook at this hotel due to fees. But other than that, I would rebook.

Unsatisfied

We went there on a family vacation not realizing we we're going to be lied to over and over about the time share or purchaSing of a unit that we made perfectly clear we were not interested in. I will not return to any Westgate facility. Water park or not this BS we had to deal with was far from worth it.

Would NOT stay here!

I would definitely recommend staying SOMEHWERE ELSE. First off, what you see on the website is not really what you get. The "free" breakfast that is listed is only free if you sign up for and listen to their timeshare presentation. The staff immediately became rude when we stated that we were not interested. We booked our rooms here as a 2 night stay and had no idea that this was even a timeshare community. Also, the great looking waterpark that is pictured is NOT for hotel guest use unless you pay $20 per person to use it. My kids were extremely disappointed! Again it was not stated on the website that this was an extra charge for use! Our room was extremely dated 80's décor with old tvs, there was a waterstain on the ceiling as if something had been leaking and the door to the adjoining room was such a poor fit that there was a gap under the door and along the sides. Overall a very disappointing experience.

overall it was a fun but the management staff is very unfair & rude, the a/c in the room was not working sufficiently and the didn't do anything to accommodate me & my wife!

They will push you to buy.

High pressure time share selling. One hour can easily turn into 4 or 5 hours. they do not like to hear NO! Remember almost nothing is included during your stay. I am certain we will never be staying at a Westgate Resort ever again.

Convenient, close to parks & affordable

Resort has a lot to offer however the 1 bedroom unit was misleading. There's no table & chairs to eat any meals at nor is their any counter space to prepare any meals. Was disappointed with kitchen, especially when our plan was to eat many meals at condo. Washer & dryer combo was a disappointment, it doesn't actually dry clothes it leaves clothes damp. I thought ours was broken but found that not to be the case, was told I could use the laundry facility if I wanted to dry clothes. Other than that the place is great!
