Check in personnel was kind of rude.

It took over an hour to fo the check in process. Looks like they were short staffed. The CS girl was kind of rude. Then she told me that she was coming back and it took her a good 15 minutes to return to the desk.

Very spacious and clean rooms . Much nicer than hotel room. Convenient to all Disney areas. There is a lot to do for kids. The grounds are safe. The restaurant is great. My only complaint is that I thought it was pricey to pay $20 a person for the water slides in addition to the regular resort fees. My sons went to the slides at 4pm and it was only open until 7pm and there was no discount despite it being so late.

Pros: everything
Cons: The salesmen for the resort are very high pressure people. you are invited to buy into the time share.
Location: plenty. Its in Orlando.
Beautiful place. plenty to do without leaving the resort. Kids will love it.

Westgate resort stay

Pros: Clean room, kitchen and enough toiletries, towels, supplies etc.
Cons: They need to focus more on the first impresion, customer service and worry less about selling time shares at check in.
Location: lots of restaurants, stores and parks nearby
This is a very big and busy hotel, in my oppinion that is why they don't have time for quality customer service, at check in they focus to much in selling you a time share presentation and if you say that you are not interested most likely you will be treated different. I had a terrible experience at check in, they gave me a handicap room, nothing against handicap but it would it been very unconfortable for us to shower and move aroung with the handicap accomodations for us. I called a couple of times to have that mistake corrected and the call got cut off or hanged up 3 times finally I spoke with the front desk supervisor and resolved the issue and at the same time she was very rude and no one apologized for their mistake that caused us 2 hours of waiting in the room to be moved to the next room when we could have been enjoing the pool or going some where instead. on top of that the check out is at 10:00 am I believe that is too early. I needed to fax something and I was not able to fax it because their fax was not working at the business center, concierge was not able to assist me either and sent me to reception desk so they can fax it for me, but I had to stand in line for a good time to get to the reception desk so I just left. I definitelly do not reccomend it at all. I definitely not reccomended.

Cons: Food served.
Location: Orlando. Plenty to do.
Only bad thing was quality of food. Raw bacon served at deli. Undercooked Pizza delivered.

Wait to check in was very long but the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating and made the experience easy once you got to the desk. Overall a very nice experience and a very nice hotel. If I play there again, I would rent two rooms instead of the Villa I stayed in because at night the air-conditioner could not be turned down below 75 and it was hot in the bedrooms..

We wouldn't stay again

The hallway smelled like some kind of chemical, our floor hadn't been mopped, the TV's were circa late 90's with a grainy picture....all of the amenities were extra, water park, mini golf etc. What a waste.

In regards to our amenities, some amenities require a fee, some do not, and some just require an equipment deposit that is returned when the equipment checked-out is returned. We do offer an amenities card that can be purchased at the front desk for a low rate that allows unlimited use of all amenities except the water park. The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The check in process was efficient but I disliked the push for timeshare meeting. Not a bad experience but ... it won't be on my top 10 choices to return
