"Great location with a very nice remodel of an old home. Kitchen and bedrooms are very nice. Back yard is a great outdoor gathering place, even though it was too cold for that during our stay. People with mobility issues should be aware there are some step downs, as this is one of the older original houses (I used to walk by this house in the early '60's, and it wasn't a new house then.). The host was quick to respond to my questions. We had a great stay and I would stay here again!"

Roberta went out of her way to replace the packnplay that was provided at the property to provide a safer one and that was greatly appreciated. Some of the sleepers aren’t in the best conditions, but aside from that, I highly recommend staying here!"

"This house was great! Nicely furnished, warm, cozy, but big and spacious too, with basically two living rooms, each with a fire place. Plenty of room, fantastic kitchen, wish we had had more time to cook some lovely meals. Easy to get to and locate, still close enough to Nevada City, but felt like we were secluded even though on a neighborhood road. House had everything we needed and was peaceful. Amazing home and we would choose this house to stay again next time we are in the area for sure!"

"This beautiful home is spacious and comfortable. The host was attentive and available and the home was stocked with everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. The location in the foothills is filled with live oak trees and wildlife which can be enjoyed from the large decking are. I brought the whole family and we all had a great time. "We loved feeling part of the outdoors when inside of this fun yurt. A true relaxing getaway among gorgeous tree-covered hills. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements as our group came and went. I had a fantastic deep tissue massage by Skya from Nevada City who came out to the house. The home was located about halfway between Auburn and Grass Valley which was nice. Hosts were very helpful."

"Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch!"
