Exquisite Hotel

Although I had heard many positive stories about the Oryx Rotana, generally my visits to Doha were with other hospitality outlets. What a wonderful experience at the Oryx Rotana, can't fault it and the staff, particularly Front Office, were just so helpful and polite. I now know where my future lodgings in Doha will be

close to airport

Spent less than 12 hours so basically just spent the night as I had an early flight next day. So had the wake up call at 4 am and took their shuttle which was reasonably priced and was on time. Also ordered room service which was pretty good a bit over priced.

Nice hotel with excellent staff and facilities

I went qatar fir vacation in rotana oryx. Staff r so friendly and service was excellent. I enjoyed the tasty Thursday sea food open buffet. It was so delecious

Great stay

I have no complaints about this Hotel, the location was great and the staff was really nice. I would definitely recommend anyone passing through Doha to stay at this Hotel.

Business class hotel

We were told on arrival that since we had stayed at the hotel before then breakfast would be complimentary. Also our family who were joining us for breakfast would be given 40% discount. At breakfast the staff denied this - the desk receptionist was no longer on duty - and the breakfast cost us 120QR -£30 - per head. There appeared to be a lack of coordination in the hotel.

Nice business / airport hotel

Pros: Cozy, freindly, shuttle service!
Cons: Can they not lock the minibar?
Location: No time to explore but there is one good Indian restaurant - Rotana where I tried their fish masala and is superb.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and received great service from the staff all over. They are smiling most of the time especially the employees at the front desk and cafe. The best thing is the pool open from 6am till 11pm and gym is 24hrs ! The only setback is they are doing some renovation and the noise is unbearable sometimes.
