Excellent hotelPosted May 14, 2016
I stayed for 4 nights in Wrocław. This hotel has very good location just up to 3 minutes walk to the market square. Room was spacious with big comfortable bed. Wrocław i s a such beautiful city and has very good atmosphere and what is most important for me it is not busy because of tourists.

Nice hotel in the centre of the main square.Posted Apr 17, 2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: As mentioned above.
Location: It was in the main square, perfectly placed for sightseeing and restaurants.
Hotel was clean and smart as you would expect from a Sofitel. Didn't appreciate staff on Reception being pushy with upgrades to room at extra cost and also extras like breakfast and getting disapproving looks when you said you didn't require either. The room came with tea making facilities but we had to ask for the tea to be replenished as they were extremely frugal with the amount of tea/coffee/milk provided which wasn't topped up each day. You get better service in a Premier Inn. When booking we were also led to believe that bath robes and slippers were provided in the room, and we noticed they were in other rooms where the doors were open, but were not in ours. Not sure if this was because, as we were told at Reception, the bill was paid already by the Travel Agent!! We felt we were treated as 'second-class customers' as these things should be standard in a 5* Sofitel Hotel.

OK hotelPosted Mar 18, 2016
It is ok hotel, in a beautiful location (just next to the main square). Twin bed (instead of double) seems a bit odd for a 5-star, and ridiculously soft. Air conditioning did not work. In my room the window was looking into internal lobby (again - are we talking about 5-star???). Shower was a little strange. Nothing at all in the room that would warrant a 5 star. Nice breakfast. AT the check out I have to wait for about 10 min - only one member of staff in the supposedly busiest time of the day (in the morning). Overall, it is ok hotel, but rather a mystery how this can be 5 star, even 4 would be a stretch.
