Very disappointing

Pros: Free Parking
Cons: A lot - starting with the attitude.
Planned to stay in the hotel for 4 nights but left after 2, despite having prepaid my stay. This was among the worst experiences in my last years and I sleep in hotels between 250-280 nights per year. 1) Room – the room was generally clean, except for the carpet. The room is not furnished for a business hotel – the desk is tiny, internet barely working (not enough bandwidth for skype), no real chair 2) Amenities - no ironing board - there is a filthy ironing room. Laundry: Called front desk 3 time to pick up, only to learn that it must be dropped off and picked up at the front desk. 2 T-Shirts and a Boxer Short for 11 EUR. When dropped before 8am, its supposed to be returned same day. But it wasn’t. It was ready the next morning. When I asked for an adjustment of the price they got very rude (“it’s an outside vendor, its not our fault, we cannot help you). No coffee/tea maker. Not even a coffee vending machine in the building. 3) Noise - walls are thin,you can hear every conversation and other activities in next room. 4) Attitude – Front desk is just careless. When I complained about the internet quality I heard “yes we know, there is nothing we can do”. Every time I approached them, the list of guests (names room #, rates),was laying open. I even took a pic of it! I could see that my non-refundable rate was double the rate of almost all other guests. When I complained about the lack of discretion, I was told: “this is not your problem, this is our work, we do what we want.

Clean, nice, luxurious hotel

Pros: Free parking, great bar, good food, nice staff
Cons: More water out of the shower and better shower heads
Location: Close the the city
Everything was great, especially the breakfast variety and the restaurant dinners

Easy access and lot of parking space.

Great hotel for those travelling by car. Stay for one night on the way back from Frankfurt to Paris.

Luxembourg vacation

My boyfriend and I stayed 1 night in December 2017. We are on a road trip seeing various countries and sites. The hotel is gorgeous, multilingual staff, gyms, pools, spa, restaurant and bar in site (limited hours). The only issue we had was at the restaurant. We ordered a drink, cheese plate and then our meals. Once our meal was delivered no wait staff ever came back to the table; we had no water or cocktails. After 25 minutes from the point we had stopped eating I got up and told them to just bring the check. The resort is excellent but go elsewhere to eat. The service is horrible for the wait and price.

Luxury that a family can afford

On a trip that was geared towards staying in convenient city centre hotels, Alvisse was the only resort-style hotel that we stayed in, and it was a great treat for a bit of relaxation on a very fast-paced vacation. The location is great if you like hiking, but we didn't have time to take advantage of that. It's also a quick drive to Luxemburg City. The pool facilities were outstanding, and another highlight was the helpfulness of the staff. We were there on Halloween, and our son was a bit down that he missed trick-or-treating with his friends. My wife arranged to give some candy to various staff members. He went a round the hotel with in his makeshift costume collecting the candy, and it made his day. If you happen to be driving through the region, I highly recommend this hotel as a place to hole up and relax for a day or two.

Nice stayb

Really nice hotel great facilities over a good stay shame about the two single beds when I arcs for a double bed very uncomfortable for me to sleep on not much in the area so deafly have to travel into the city but thankfully the city centre is not that far. Staff could be a bit more friendlier that's fine if that's how they are just would be nice out for a little bit more communication from them instead I found myself walking past off without them even acknowledging me
