“Loved our stay here. My only concerns were the difficulty to find parking nearby and the check in process was a little confusing since you have to run across the street to pick up the keys. Also, the building is sandwiched between 2 other buildings and was hard to find.”

“Overall on the surface of it Lough Eske looks grand and wonderful. The room I stayed in was very spacious and very clean. All the staff I interacted with were all very helpful. The breakfast was a big positive. Tasted great and the staff very attentive. When you look closer there are a number of parts of the hotel that look tired and need attention. I was particularly disappointed in the spa area. It had a number of maintenance issues such as bulbs out, loose wiring for the switches of the……

“In the Lodge we had a good view of the lough from our room and the common area lounge. Lovely grounds. We sat outside on the terrace when the sun shone. The breakfast choice is superb with buffet and chef selection, and more. We weren't so impressed with the evening food served in the bar lounge. Overall it's a great experience.”

“Only real issue involves room doors that have a strong shutting mechanism. Obviously too much for many guests. We managed to close our door without banging...... apparently, too much effort for many others resulting in loud door banging into the night and then early morning. No fault of the hotel just inconsiderate fellow guests!”
