I normally don't review, but here are a few things that might be helpful to others:
1. There is an intense, almost nauseating pine smell throughout the hotel. Two other people mentioned this in their reviews but I ignored it. I shouldn't have. SUPER strong. I brought it to the staff's attention and they had no idea what I was talking about. If smells like that bother you, this is NOT something you'll be able to tolerate.
2. The property is only 5 mins away from the airport, but you can also hear planes all night. So it's a give and take.
3. There's a bit of a language barrier and some questions get answered with an answer that doesn't apply. You'll know what I mean if you stay here.
4. Internal communication could be improved. e.g. - A man from Australia was frantic because they forgot to give him his wake-up call so he missed his flight. I was told that they would charge $40 to give me early access to my room and then was told they have no such policy.
5. Some upkeep is needed. The screen on my window was half torn off and waved in the wind, and those window sills really needed a cleaning.
5. Overall it was one of the least expensive in the area. The staff was nice (the gal that drove the shuttle was super nice & stood out as being very concerned about the customer's wellbeing). You get what you pay for, & if they stop with that pine smell, do a little upkeep, & put a bit more effort into what the customer actually is asking I think they would do well!
