Check-in took 40 minutes. The room I reserved was not available so they gave me a double. I thought it wasn't going to be a big deal but the photos posted to Expedia are a big lie. The Fiddler's Inn is a complete dump. You have to pull furniture from the wall to access a working outlet, the tub doesn't drain, and large loud machines come by every two hours to wake up the neighborhood (seriously at 2 am and then again at 4 am there were a lot of angry people standing outside trying to figure out what was going on). If you like staying at places where even after a shower you feel dirty this is the place for you. I've used Expedia for a while now traveling to dozens of cities and staying in dozens of hotels and this is the first time I've felt the need to right a review.

The place should be totally redone - worried the stairs leading to the breakfast room could fall down at any time. Stains in the bathroom everywhere and sink didn't drain properly.

Staff was nice. Didn’t like the fact that I booked king bed room and got 2 double beds. They didn’t clean the room after the first night I stayed.

Absolutely terrible service. The hotel says “pet friendly” but then put me in the non pet friendly part of the hotel without saying a single word, and then charged me for having a pet. Hotel staff said nothing about the pet I had with me while checking in and giving me a non pet friendly room.
