It is a cheaper alternative than staying at the convention center itself but the hotel is very out dated and the bathrooms are very small. The plus side is the shuttle that will bring you to the convention center and it is walking distance on a dry day.

Huge hotel will all you needPosted Mar 11, 2018
The hotel is huge, with so many restaurant and stores inside, you never need to leave to go anywhere else. Just steps from the grand Ol Opry and large mall. Beautiful place

DisappointingPosted Mar 5, 2018
Pros: The location to the Grand Ole Opry is great! The shuttle is very nice! The Backstage restaurant is very good with very friendly staff and convenient!
Cons: The inn is dated. The staff needs to be mindful of parking location to the proximity of your room. Maid staff should be more mindful of guests sleep!
Location: The Gaylord Opryland convention center is within walking distance! The shuttle to the Grand Ole Opry is great!
We were expecting the hotel to be of similar quality to other Gaylord properties and found it was not. The lobby is very nice but the rest of the inn is dated. The restaurant was very good and convenient with friendly staff. We did however have an issue with the room we requested in our reservation. We found out later that they did not have enough clean rooms. Even though we had checked in early we were assigned a room with 1 double bed with 2 bunks beds instead of the king bed we requested. This was unacceptable. We had trouble with the key but that was resolved after walking back clear across the inn lobby to get new keys. I was surprised that a hotel would even still offer double beds! The inn manager did however find a room with a king as requested as one miraculously became available! Parking is not convenient to the proximity to some rooms. So we had a long walk with luggage. The hotel is in a great location near The Grand Ole Opry and offers a great shuttle to the show! After the show we were looking forward to getting a good night sleep as we had a long day of travel the next day. This did not happen! We were awaken by VERY chatty and loud maid staff cleaning rooms from 11:30 to 3:30 am! The cleaning carts rolling on the outside cement hallways sounded like a stem roller! It was very disrespectful of the sleeping guests! We had arranged for a wake up call on their automated system that did NOT happen! Thankfully I used my phone as back up. We were not happy!

Pimping or Drug Dealing Next DoorPosted Feb 25, 2018
Pros: The staff were accomodating and the indoor pool is nice.
Cons: The exterior rooms need to be updated. They smell like wet dogs and gym socks. YUCK!
Location: It's within walking distance to the opryland convention center. Well lit paths between the two places make it a good alternative.
Unfortunatly, the rooms were completely full the first night and I was in a room next to an extended-stay guest. They had people driving up and having loud angry conversation outside my door until midnight.

Smaller then Gaylor and they provide shuttles. So the hotel is great for family can’t get lost.

Great staff! Clean rooms. Loved the hotel but not a big fan of kids screaming at 8 in the morning.

Gaylord OverflowPosted Jan 22, 2018
Pros: The restaurant was nice in service and convenient.
Cons: This hotel is under the Marriott hotel chain so I would have expected the same amentities but the standards need improving to be a Marriott.
Location: If this Inn is the overflow of the Gaylord Opryland Resort which is what I was told then the guests should be able to use the amentities for both.
When I made this reservation, I did not notice that it was for the Inn instead of the Gaylord Opryland Resort which started this week of vacation at Nashville out as a surprise along with the weather being unexpectedly cold weather. The hotel was not at full occupancy so I was shocked to be put in a room that I had to access from the outside. This could have been a better experience.
