I was there for 2 nights, I did not have any hot water for the second night as well as the morning after. On the day that I was checking out someone opened my room's door even though I had my card in the proper place and it was showing that it was occupied. When I rushed to the door to see who was there I did not find anyone or any cleaning carts. For the price I payed i expected at least to have hot water. The parking lot was hard to find as well specially if you follow google maps to get to the hotel.

The hotel was close to everything. The staff were extremely helpful. The shower worked perfect. The breakfast included was amazing. I was amazed the hotel overlooked the beautiful main square.

Car Park Users beware! The car park is not near the hotel, not secure, not well lit and surrounded by building works. A junkie materialised out of nowhere begging for money. We didn’t feel out car was safe. Expedia said they would cancel and refund the booking and to go and book another hotel. We did and after two days Expedia said the hotel refused to give the refund. Go stay at The Esplanade. It’s fabulous!

The location is great- right around the corner from the square, and within walking distance from all the holiday festivities that were up during December. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. The front lobby is modern and upgraded, which is the complete opposite of the room. It was dark, cramped, outdated, and not clean. Having the lobby look so nice and ample but the room not match the aesthetic creates a deceiving impression. I would have not cared as much if the room was clean - I kept finding hairs that were not mine, even after the room would be freshened up by their team in the mornings. The room was dusty, bathroom fixtures were dirty, and the stand in shower would pool water at the bottom, making it hard to shower.

This time not so happy!
It was a disappointing stay, we have stayed at Hotel Dubrovnik Zagreb well over 10 times. On this occasion we were allocated to room 432, overlooking the inside roofs of neighboring buildings, the windows were letting in cold air, which made the evening very uncomfortable, in the bathroom the shower did not work, meaning you could not change the water flow from the tap in the bath to the shower-head ( I alerted the front desk when I lift for my medical appointment in the morning but nothing was done when I got back that evening). I was told the hotel was full and they would attend to it, but as we were leaving early Wednesday morning that evening I just couldn't be bothered calling the reception again, knowing it was evening and knowing too well they would not do anything about it that late. Overall the room was run down. I got the impression that since we had a small pet with us (little pug), which we reported at reception and paid the extra fee, they just dump you in the worst room they have. Seriously, our pet (small pug) is the most well trained, quite, clean and totally toilet trained pet, probably better behaved and cleaner than some human guests they have had. Disappointing

Staff was very friendly and bed was comfortable. We had trouble figuring out how to get water to come out of the shower head and shower seemed like it was falling a part. Would stay again if necessary.

This hotel is super convenient because it is located couple mins from the old city. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a lot of charm and close to lot of the restaurants. The area feels safe so you can go for a late night walk too.

The staying was wonderfull. The manager upgrade us to upper floor. The staff friendly and helping from the srrival [free parking]. When we asked for extra towels ir arrives wihin some minutes. The food was wonderfull and view was excellent. We will stay there in our next trip

Excellent experience including breakfast, wifi and customer service but it would have been even better if air-conditioning was centrally turned on as the noise from the city square was sometimes too much and distracting….would certainly recommend!!!

Lovely hotel well positioned in the centre of Zagreb. Really good breakfast. The bath area was a bit shabby and you do get some noise from the main square. Otherwise great and not too expensive.
