Nice place close to everything in areaPosted Jul 16, 2015
We were greeted by the owners personally and it was a very homey atmosphere. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast was awesome. Room very clean and spacious. We recommend the Harley room.

Quaint place, not much aroundPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels
Room was clean. Location is on Lake Michigan, they have a nice little "beach" area. They have picnic tables and a fire pit. Algoma is a little far from most of the other Door County attractions. Owners were super friendly and really nice. If you had any concerns or issues they were more than happy to accommodate. They cook breakfast in the morning. I personally, was not a fan of eating with everyone and would rather of had some sort of spread laid out to access at my convenience.

Great locationPosted Sep 24, 2014 on Hotels
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Water's Edge B & B. Kari was very welcoming, breakfasts were delicious as well as the conversation. The sound of the waves from Lake Michigan was a wonderful sound, especially for sleeping!! The only disappointment was the sunrise each morning was covered with clouds. Unfortunately, Kari had no control over that!! If we ever venture to that area again, we will definitely put it on our list to revisit.

Great B&B to fall asleep to the sound of wavesPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the owners, the food and location right on the Lake
Location: Algoma was the perfect location to explore Door County
This hospitality of at this hotel is second to none. Kari, the owner makes you feel very welcome and part of her family. Her breakast made of fresh pancakes or quiches are the perfect way to start your day. The squirrels and chipmunks even come to greet you as you are having breakfast. Plus\the historic town Algoma is a great base to explore the rest of Door County.

This was a weekend getaway for my son and his fiancé. This was their 1st experience with a B&B and they said it was a great place, on the lake, with great food. They said they will stay again!!

B & BPosted Jul 31, 2014 on Hotels
Nice people and beautiful view. The worse problem was the noise of other guests...not much could be done I suppose. But, maybe explaining to other guests that after 10:00 it is time to be quiet. Couldn't hear the lake splashing on the shore if we wanted to as we had to keep the window shut to help with the "people" noise. Bed was not made very well the second day?? Thought that was kind of strange.
