Perfect location.

The staff were all very helpful and polite. Our room was clean with very comfortable beds. Having the spa facilities was lovely, it was all very clean and relaxing. The only thing that stopped me from giving a 100% score was that the parking was an issue. Limited hotel parking and at a additional cost, so the only option was street parking and a walk back to the hotel, fine for us but not for some. Overall a lovely hotel.

Good location but bit past its best

It's in a great location offering good views of the sea though our room wasn't a sea view one so that's a limited benefit. For the price I expected more, I didn't expect to have to walk outside after checking in, into another building to catch a shabby lift to the room. I didn't expect the room to be quite so creaky, you couldn't move anywhere in the room without the floor squeaking. Everything is just a bit worn and tired. But on the plus side most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast is good.

Comfortable hotel easy access to beach

Pros: Helpful staff, spacious comfortable room
Cons: Breakfast food delicious but always cold, needs greater variety on restaurant menu
Location: within walking distance of town and easy access to beach
modern luxury hotel, friendly and efficient staff,comfortable bed with great sea view from room made for very pleasant stay

Nice room, everything else, very below par

Pros: Room was tidy.
Cons: More staff. Plan ahead, especially around public holidays. More attention to detail. Manage the car park. You charge for parking so manage it.
Location: Location is good that's why I picked the hotel.
Where to start. On arrival, the car park was full. Most people double parked so once I found a stop I could not leave as I was blocked in. Also, they charge for the car park? I arrived about 1.30pm. My room was not ready. No problem, I went for a meal, for a walk, came back at 3.30pm. Room not ready. Got to my room about 4.30pm The wing of the hotel where I was staying was been painted. This is something that should have been done before August bank holiday when the hotel was full. Breakfast the following day was horrible - rushed, crowded and not at all 4 Star. I went out for breakfast for the remainder of my stay. Overall, my conculsion is that the hotel is very short of staff . Everything takes too long, housekeeping, crowded car park, its been run like a budget hotel. I am a Marriott Rewards card holder for many years so I am normally impressed with Marriott quality but this is very below standard and I will not stay again nor recommned it.

Close to the beach and nice hotel swimming pool

The hotel is great close to the beach . On those rainy days you can relax in their swimming pool and Saina . Staff are friendly and assisted us always especially we had a new born baby of 3 months thet made sure we were always comfortable with him .

Die Sauberkeit der Tische auf der Terrasse war eine Katastrophe. Zigarettenkippen unter dem Tisch, Speisereste auf dem Tisch. Man muss schon froh sein, wenn die Servicekraft wenigstens das schmutzige Geschirr der Vorgänger über wegräumt. Den Tisch für eine neue Bewirtung abzuwischen, scheint dort nicht üblich zu sein. Ekelhaft.

Hotel in toller Lage und sehr nah am Strand

Cons: Die Ausstattung sollte entweder restauriert oder ersetzt werden.
Location: Das Hotel befindet sich am Strand.
Die Parkplatzsituation ist sehr schlecht. Auch wenn man einen teuren Platz gemietet hat, muss man oft sehr lange suchen, bis man einen freien Platz findet. Das Hotel ist sauber aber sehr altmodisch. Einige Möbel in unserem Zimmer waren in einem erbärmlichen Zustand: ein Stoffsessel war so stark verschmutzt, dass man sich nicht darauf setzen mochte. Ein Schreibtischstuhl war an vielen Stellen aufgeplatzt und aufgerissen. Der Fernsehschrank, in dem sich auch eine ungefüllte Minibar befand, war stark beschädigt und an einigen Stellen war das Furnier komplett abgesprungen und das Möbel wirkte dadurch wie vom Sperrmüll. Der kleine Beistelltisch (bei dem ekligen Sessel) war ebenfalls am Rand total kaputt und hatte auch im oberen Bereich schlimme Beschädigungen. Auch dieser wirkte wie vom Sperrmüll. Bei unserem Zimmer handelte es sich um Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick.

This is a challenge but our concierge team manage to accommodate all guests every weekend when this becomes a challenge. They are a great team. We are scheduled for a full renovation in 2017 and we hope to welcome you back to try out our reinvention and again share your comments.

Good Location, nice Pool & Sauna car park hectic

Cons: Car park, don't overbook it, remove large pots. Get some tea & coffee making facilities for breakfast dining area people can get their own
Location: Pier nearby. Exhibition Centre close. The Crab is nearby. Close to Sandbanks
First stay, fab location as easy walking to Pier, most restaurants & pubs etc. We stayed in out building Dorchester Wing, which meant we had to walk outside of hotel through car park to go to the building. It would be nicer to get a room inside of hotel. Had to pay £12 for 24 hour parking. However this proved a nuisance as car park was always full, had to drive round 5 times, & eventually parked outside one of hotels entrances at the back by the wall where they took deliveries. They obviously had too many cars parking at same hotel stay, this could be managed better. Large pots in car park make parking & driving through more difficult. They should be removed. nice pool & sauna steam rooms, breakfast average, no nuts, cheese selection. Waiters were slow at times, to bring tea & coffee. They should get own tea & coffee facikities so people can get their own, the need to move in with the times. Overall not bad a stay.
